Over the past week, I'm now at a point where I'll be upset if we don't get pick 1 or pick 2 for Wiggins/Embiid. WIggins is starting to turn it on big-time. He and Embiid are going into their own tier(s) right now.

Just think how upset you'll be when we get a top 2 pick and don't take either of them. :(

Parker scares the heck out of me right now. I'm not writing him off by any stretch. But again, we all saw Brandon Jennings come in guns blazing his first month as a rookie. Parker may not have been that good a shooter and is reverting back to the mean.

Doesn't mean he can't improve and isn't a great prospect. He may return with a wicked vengeance at tournament time. But right now Wiggins/Embiid and on a lower tier, Marcus Smart are all taking their games up a notch.

For the 2nd time in this thread:

Or you get Wiggins and have to endure 4 years of talk of him going to Toronto as he starts to develop (because IMO it's going to take him some time)

Well we'd have him for 8 (likely) years minimum, so I'll withstand that talk while behind the scenes Giannis and Wiggins develop the ultimate bromance

BTW I honestly think the Bucks can't afford multiple seasons like this. They need to get to winning and excitement almost immediately after they get their next prospect. I think we are on thin ice with any player that comes here. If we can become winners early and excite the city, it changes the game. We need to get to that asap.

That's why I'm hoping this horrific season serves two purposes: 1) a top pick, 2) a new, innovative, basketball-smart coaching staff.

A core of Giannis + Embiid/Wiggins/Parker should be able to attract good candidates.

For sure and I have a feeling that is just the start of that. He is going to use that threat around draft time to try and help him land where he wants to land.

Right now my board is Embiid, wiggins, Exum, Parker, Randle, smart, wcs.

Well it's pretty rare for a guy to turn down a possible $60 million guaranteed by taking the qualifying offer and a one year deal at a small amount. I know Ben Gordon did it, but I'm pretty sure no one's ever turned down a max contract.

Why would he purposely hurt his stock? Being picked later doesn't mean he'll go to the team he wants at all.

Three possession sequence :
1) Embiid doubled in the post, kick out to the open shooter for the 3 (make).
2) Protect the rim by altering the first shot. Block the second shot.
3) Get the ball deep under the basket and somehow convert it high off the glass.

Big time talent.

If Bucks are 1 and Utah, lakers, or Boston are 2,3,4, he has Mormon central or two huge markets too end up at. It's that type of situation I could see him not caring being number 1 and rather wanting to be 2-4.

If we end up with #1 and Utah #2, we'd be idiots to not get an asset to move down one spot.

Poor Embiid can't catch a break with these garbage refs.

Wiggins starting to attack. A little apprehensive at the very end. At some point in his life (hopefully soon), someone's getting yacked on there.
