I go back to Slovenia with Baynes but the only physical destruction in the playoffs was his own body at the hands of Blake Griffin.

His failure to lay anybody out during the playoffs was a great disappointment, and frankly a shame to his country. I have faith he can turn it around and injure some guys next season.

He did his native kiwi land proud by just playing in a professional basketball game.

Spoiler:
Player A: Eric Bledsoe (http://stats.nba.com/player/#!/202339/stats/shooting/)

Player B: MCW (http://stats.nba.com/player/#!/203487/stats/shooting/)

Now obviously Bledsoe is a better PG and shooter right now but let's not pretend he will completely open up the offense for us. I expect MCW to get a little better this offseason. That said, I'd trade MCW for him in a heartbeat but he is getting over-rated on this board. I like him but wouldn't part with anything better than MCW/Henson and even that is pushing it.

If you really want to talk about jumpers that space the floor you should probably extend to jumpers that actually extend the defense. From 16-3pt MCW is shot 25% compared to Bledsoe's 38% and the three point differential is pretty significant. That's even before the fact that teams actually respect and stay on Bledsoe anywhere near the outside and teams literally pray MCW shoots a nearly uncontested shot from there.

I think it would be an interesting opportunity for Wade to take kind of a hybrid role as he transitions from player to coach where better a place to do than close to home with HOFer Jason Kidd, fellow Chicagoan Jabari Parker, and Giannis of course!

The nets are a cautionary tale in tying up money in aging superstars. It can go bad quick and ruin goodwill with fans if expectations aren't met.

I think you mean the Nets are a cautionary tale of tying up money in Aging Stars. The nets have not had a Superstar since Prime Jason Kidd.

BKN's biggest problem was that they gave huge money to non Superstars.

Green would be an amazing signing for us. We desperately need shooting and he is pretty good defensively I believe

Green would be amazing. Wade and MCW together would be gross.

I'm down with MCW/Mids/Green/Giannis/Henson.

Jabari will take time, clearly it appears we will make some addition at C but on paper that seems ok. With Mids and Green legitimate three point weapons and Giannis hopefully making further strides with his jumpshot, spacing is not as much of an issue.

Green really would be perfect for us. I'd be shocked if we'd be able to pay him enough though.

What does Green cost us?

How different is he cost wise/playing wise from Middleton?

Not arguing against him, but thinking part of the Green equation is what Middleton signs for.

I don't think Green is a max player, but I think you basically have to max him to have the Warriors not automatically match.

Lots of the same qualities as Middleton. Will cost too much for us.

Pray Dudley opts out. Sign Green and Amir. Fluff for Hibbert.

MCW / Vasquez
Middleton / Green
Jabari / Green
Giannis / Amir
Hibbert / Henson

That'd be a cool "get Kidd a competitive roster" team.

Danny Green. You know, Patty's teammate.

 I read your post after reading an article on Draymond and the two just melted together in my mind. :)

You keep bringing up culture change but hasn't the culture already started to change? The fact that we are even in discussions with upper echelon free agents this off-season is a complete culture change from the Kohl era. Adding run-down vets like Wade and Chandler aren't going to take us to the championship and we would be overpaying them on the decline.

Much like GB brought in White, we need the Bucks to bring in that guy that shows that our location isn't as bad as it seems and you can create an awesome legacy here.

Reggie White was in the prime of his career when he came to GB. Wade is about two years removed from his prime. I don't think he would move the needle as far as bringing an allure to Milwaukee for future free agents.

Reggie was past his prime when he signed with GB.

I figured I needed to correlate the players with known NBA Aussies and that would do the trick. 8-)

Shhhh. That's a lil known fact. Even though he was past his prime though didn't mean he still wasn't DPOY good though.

Not sure how much Wades game has dropped off but that mainly has to do with injuries. But honestly from a PR standpoint the benifits are outstanding with the arena issue looming.

That said I have only a slightly worse chance of suiting up for the Bucks next season then Wade has of signing with us

Probably could have got Splitter and Mills for Cap space.

I dont know if you want to pay Danny as much as we would have to to get him away from the Spurs for him to be the 6th man

Return to Milwaukee Bucks
