I think it'd be crazy to pick him. He's got no offensive skills and really doesn't know how to play. Maybe in a few years, he becomes a Ian Mahinmi type. And we already have a better project center in Maker - who can actually play some.

I see Antawn Jamison.

Jamison was a far better player at UNC - and then developed a 3 point shot in the NBA. He couldn't play D, but he still had a fine career. I think Perry Jones is a much better comp to Wilson.

Yea, Jamison was a star at UNC. I'm saying I see the same kind of game.

I've got him at #1. People don't get how well he played at UCLA - while still deferring to the team's veterans, and he's going to add strength in the NBA. He made 73% of his 2's and 42% of his 3's while leading the nation in assists per game by half an assist per game and having a better than 3 to 1 assist/to ratio. These are things that freshmen just don't do. Chris Paul was a great player at Wake, and he didn't do those things.

I think I'm comfortable saying at this point that Lonzo is such a ridiculous statistical outlier that I have no idea how to evaluate him. You could talk me into him being the best guard prospect in the last decade or him being someone who shouldn't be touched in the lotto. There just isn't anyone you can compare him with.

Everybody gets so caught up in our center glut, but there's a pretty good chance Thon is the only five on the roster a year from now. If they feel the BPA is a big they obviously have to take him. Nothing wrong with giving HERD fans something to moo about.

Kinda wish the Bucks had the very, very last pick in the draft to pick up Isaac Humphries and stash somewhere then wait 4 or 5 years until he's a grown up.

At first I assumed Seth Davis' quote below on Ike was based on knee issues in the past and therefore is not super alarming. Is this just a preventative measure? Or could there be more to it and cause for concern?

He had a meniscus tear and some knee issues so he’s not working out for anybody.

I have 2 Bruins at the top of my likely to be available list currently. Leaf for offense. Ike for defense. We have 2 rim protectors in Giannis and Thon. When it slows down to a grind in the playoffs the glaring weaknesses are shooting, rebounding, and PG play. The Prez should continue to improve his game and be a better PG next year and I don't see one being best available at 17. Leaf seems like a great fit to me if we feel the game will continue to go the direction it has. Offense and rebounding are what he does well and Middleton could slide into Snells role I believe.

I dont care if we're drafting a C, a PG, a wing, or a blue elephant with purple wings, the dude must be able to shoot 3s and play D. Anything else is gravy.

Can anyone see Frank Ntilikina falling to 17? I'm not that high on him but would snap him up at 17
