What was the catchy slogan they used?

A yes "continuity"

No the Bucks are not title contenders this year. This roster is not going to even come out of the East, let alone contend for the title.

Lol, righttt. I get some Bucks fans are deluded but to say we're not title contenders or can't get out of the East with this roster? Lmao. Cmon man.

So if we stayed the exact same team are we getting out of the east? Contending for title?

I think you are saying we got way worse?

If all that is true, the incompetence in the front office, this could literally be the beginning of the end of pro basketball in Wisconsin. Front office fumbles most important offseason ever, Giannis & Holiday walk, can't properly rebuild without picks, by the time fans are allowed back in the stands there isn't an interest, owners sell.

I don't know off the top of my head, but I'm guessing the answer is either Bobby Simmons or Brook Lopez.

Monroe was a max at the time wasn't he lol

Woah, I completely forgot Greg Monroe existed

Not sure what Anthony Mason's contract was in retrospect, either. Google says 4/21 but I don't have any recollection of what it meant cap-wise.

Jrue is an upgrade over Bled. Besides that, I think we're worse in terms of depth than we were last year.

Then again, everything feels better to me if Giannis re-signs.

Huge Robin Lopez fan? The only good players we lost were at PG, where we clearly upgraded.

I want Bazemore on a Wes deal so he can have a solid season and sign with the Lakers next year.

I agree that at the end of the day if Giannis signs, everything is better 100%.

Tbh what depth are we really missing though? Come playoff time, depth didn't help with anything. I truly believe we are much much better than LY and our ceiling is much higher when it comes to guys exceeding their potential and giving us something different

No it is simple. I don't understand why we get the same arguments every year.

The league evolves. The East became much better. The Bucks are not the "new concept" presented 2 years ago with Bud on the bench and the league's top 10 teams know how to limit them in the playoffs.

The Bucks needed immense improvements. Up until what I have seen, they improved somewhat but not enough in critical aspects of their game (mostly playmaking).

I stated my opinion (of course assuming the roster remains as is). I will be here at the end of the season to discuss after the results.

Do you live in an alternate universe were the Bucks won last year or the teams in the East did not change?

I mean it wouldn’t be the first time they had a cap related brain fart and it cost them - see last year with the trade exception they could’ve had.

I wish I could feel that optimistic about it. It seems that our GM doesn’t understand the CBA. He bungled getting the trade exception last year. I believe he had no idea about this not being able to have second year as player option thing. I didn’t either but then again I’m not a GM in the NBA.

The only thing that doesn’t make sense is the cheapskate owners paying the luxury tax to overpay Pat. But then again maybe Horst doesn’t realize we are in the luxury tax zone now.

Man so we won because of Donte and they were bad because of Bogdan is your answer?

His 3pt% is 38% all his life and the best player of his team, imagine his 3pt% when everyone guarding Giannis... Serbians are dogs man..

I'm not going to say anything about him and his game cause he isn't coming so i dont care about him...

Bogdan has never been better than Fox, he's not even better than Hield or Bjelica. He only shot 40% on wide open 3s, so his % wasn't really going to change here much. The Kings had a worthwhile offense, it was their defense that was awful, because they had too many Bogdan's.

He was being acquired because he was a buddy of Giannis, but that's over.

Why you speak only about last year? What about his first 2 years? 45% is bad?
Anyway i dont give a **** about him..

The disrespect Jrue gets is crazy. He's a huge upgrade over Bledsoe and a proven playmaker. Watch the film. How did the East become much better? Besides KD and Kyrie coming back its pretty much the same IMO.

With our assets and cap what immense improvements were you looking for?? What playmaker on the market did you want to get that would put us over the top?

At the end of the day Giannis is still improving as well, his playmaking and BBALL IQ will get better. Crazy to say we aren't title contenders or cant get out of the East.

Return to Milwaukee Bucks
