Well hello there.

Publisher 2K is reportedly set to announce several games including a Borderlands spin-off and a Marvel strategy game from the makers of XCOM.

That’s according to an alleged leaked game list first posted on Reddit, verified by journalist Jason Schreier and some details of which VGC’s own sources can corroborate.

According to the list, the Borderlands spin-off is called Wonderlands and stars mainstay character Tiny Tina.

A series spin-off was first claimed to be in development by Gamereactor last month, then 2K parent Take-Two confirmed shortly after that it would publish a “new Gearbox franchise” before April 2022.

It’s also claimed that XCOM studio Firaxis is working on a new turned-based strategy game starring Marvel heroes. Last month Take-Two said the studio would reveal “several exciting projects” this year.

“As a result of the engagement from the past as well as the success of XCOM Chimera Squad and XCOM 2 on Switch, Firaxis games had one of its best years ever,” said CEO Strauss Zelnick during an earnings call.

“We expect this growth to continue as the studio has several exciting projects in development that will be revealed this year.”

Finally, the alleged leak claims that 2K will publish a new action game described as “Cthulhu meets Saints Row”. It’s speculated that this could be Hangar13’s new IP described as an “open-world sci-fi title with supernatural elements”.

On Thursday E3 organiser the Entertainment Software Association (ESA) published new details on its 2021 schedule, which includes a Gearbox press conference on Saturday, June 12 and a Take-Two presentation on Monday, June 14.

The all-digital E3 2021 event runs from June 12-15 and will include a four-day live broadcast hosted by Alex ‘Goldenboy’ Mendez, Jacki Jing and Greg Miller, featuring publisher showcases, press conferences, industry panels, livestreams and more.

That looks incredible.

ETA: And it looks like a PC only game for the moment. Booo.
Been seeing ads for this all day before never having heard of it at all. Might try to play it with my friends 10 year old son if she let's him. I was hoping to get him into Valheim but she doesn't like Vikings even though I resemble one.

Valheim is pretty fun. Played a little on release but then didn't start again until a week ago, playing with my wife. Haven't got that far into it, just first 2 bosses, but we're having a good time building and fending off the random events.

I am also down with Marvel XCOM.

I still think we should get Star Wars XCOM. Can either be Clone Wars era for a more Enemy Unknown style game using clone troopers or a Rebellion era game with resistance fighters like XCOM 2.

Anyone have GoPro Hero9 Black? I have a Hero3, so it's been...well, I suppose 6 years since I last upgraded. But I use it 4-5 times per year (non-pandemic) and find them wholly worth it personally. That said, just curious for opinions on the 'worth it' for upgrading. I'm leaning toward yes since you no longer need a case for waterproofing and the front-facing screen.

TIA.

Knockout City is kinda the perfect team based game. I'm not remotely good enough to be competitive in a team shooter and I don't like talking or hearing from others, and KC is a nice game where I feel like I can pick up the controller and contribute. I'm sure there will eventually be high level people and mechanics, but for now it's great.

Picked up TLOU2 on PS5; the 60fps upgrade is gorgeous. Incredibly beautiful game.

Just perusing some R&C reviews and they all say the same thing: it's a showcase of what the PS5 can really do.

We did not watch the same State of Play :o

This just looks a full generation above Horizon. Worried that we'll say the same about GoW.

Yeah it looks amazing. Can't wait to play it - and can't believe it's finally just a few days away.

I still think Horizon looks excellent - the underwater scene really showcased, and the texture updates were impressive - but you're right that this looks a level above. Honestly, this looks a level above anything ever done on a console. The fur texture is banana, and the lighting is unreal. I'm officially a ray-tracing believer now.

Thanks for the tip. I was heading east with Primrose and Olberic, but I doubled back west and picked up Alfyn. He looks like he's gonna be a good one.

For those unaware, Sumer Game Fest just went live and is debuting some stuff. So far they've shown "Tiny Tina's Wonderlands" and "Metal Slug Tactics."

The Ratchet and Clank release kinda snuck up on me. My brother and his fiance are visiting this weekend but I can't wait to dive into it next week. Never played the other R&C games but this just looks incredible.

Never played Two Point Hospital, but it always seemed to be in my wheelhouse. I'm excited for Two Point Campus.

EA hacked, including source code.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.
