They really need a healthy Zion first, but the team I could see being desperate enough to do it would be the Pelicans.

You guys are underestimating the enigma that is Kyrie. He already leaked that he would retire if traded.

He may do it either way.

American basketball is overdue to produce a legit superstar to the calibre of Kobe/Shaq/Lebron/KD
I thought Zion might have a chance but he looks less likely everyday

Think he just takes a gap year.

I think that Wendell Carter deal is going to be a bad contract. Smart dude, I just don’t see it in him. His height is one of the biggest lies in the NBA. He’s actually like 6’7”, maybe 6’8”. He seems destined to be a journeyman big, Hammond giving him a 4/50 deal is par for the course (Gooden, Henson, Plumlee) and it’s truly incredible to see him pull it off once more.

He measured 6′ 8.75" barefoot at the combine which seems right to me by the eye test. That's the same height Bam measured out at.

The nba needs one quick. Outside of Lebron, Steph, KD, nobody else brings in the big views/ratings and those guys are all pretty old in nba years. Giannis, Luka, Jokic all seem to be more in the Duncan, Dirk, KG molds. All time great talents with legit star power but not face of the league material.

Zion like you said was on the way, bringing in some impressive numbers by himself but injuries and losing made people drop him completely.

That was the year prior to the NBA cracking down on these measurements. They went back and changed Carter’s height to 6’9” now, so his true height barefoot is much closer to 6’7”. Durant measured 6’9” at the combine and that is the biggest lie in the NBA lol. I saw Carter and Bagley at Summer League his rookie year and couldn’t believe how short Carter was. I had John Brockman flashbacks lol.

It’s Devin Booker. It’s easy to forget he is only going to be 25 this season. He’s improved every year and has already had multiple 40 point games in the NBA finals. I think he’s earned the superstar label, the dude is incredible. Booker doesn’t have Kobe’s defense, but he does have that offensive firepower.

Merrill made the grizzlies roster over Kris Dunn, Jabari was one of the last chosen Celtics. I tuned into one of their preseason games and he was only playing garbage minutes, if he didn’t make that roster I think he would’ve been outta the league.

As an Aussie I still want Exum to make it, as a Bucks fan I would not like him trying to run an offense off the bench.

I'd love to have him as a switch defender off the bench.

Meanwhile, where’s Stelly? I’ve seen no posting from him about Dante or Gidds.

I don’t think Exum has a place in the NBA sadly. His body doesn’t seem to be up to it and I’m not sure what NBA skill he has. Good and smart defender but not sure it’s worth a roster spot for that.

Anyhoo, hope someone picks him up.

Kris Dunn toast or can he still play elite level defense at point. Would be nice to have 48 minutes of hell for opposing lead guards.
