We got roped in to watching trailers for the entire Gearbox catalog, it seems lol.

Hope it's worth the wait.

Cool footage but did they really just do that without a release date?

I was thinking the same. But also, yea. Where were the details?

Apparently they're releasing game info on April 3rd at Borderlands.com

I downloaded the HD trailer and watched it over again, sometimes frame by frame. You can actually see some pretty incredible detail and animation. The gun variance is nuts. I saw some seriously interesting mechs and vehicles you're gonna use.

Does anyone have Spotify family setup? We're a music all the time household, still committed to physical media (vinyl and cds) but use spotify enough to justify it (particularly just to zone out in headphones when working). I went to change from premium to family and it asked for the physical street address- I'm just curious if other folks have that and dodgy the address and it still works (I'm mindful of just how much personal data gets out there with how many different companies).

Sekiro:

Spoiler:
Beat the Drunkard tonight after a few tries. Now both of my paths (that I know of) are blocked by a boss fight - the guy who rides the horse and Lady Butterfly. Fought Lady Butterfly once and got her health about 1/3 of the way down.

I've only been able to play 15 minutes or so a day and things have gone really slow. Last night I just finally beat the shinobi hunter and the guy in chains. Now it's onto General Tenzen. I've been playing dumb, though. More often than not going in without thinking and observing. I gotta stop doing that.

That's how I am with most souls games but I've been really patient playing Sekiro, always trying to draw out one enemy at a time and surveying the area from a high point before I choose my targets.

B3 trailer was super underwhelming. Will be interested to get more details. As of right now I’d still plan to get it - as I haven’t played B2 in a long, long time and am not worn out on it - but it wouldn’t be a day 1 purchase because been there, done that.

I'm actually likely to get the original BL remaster.

They botched the thing in a number of ways. Sure, it's great to see more Borderlands because that's what people want. But they really shouldn't have relied on gameplay footage alone because the nature of the series means there's only so much you can do with that art style. It isn't like you can make them more lifelike because, ya know, it's cell shaded Borderlands.

What they needed to do was show footage but actually tell us about the ways they advanced the franchise. I suspect that's coming next week, but why in the hell not do that when you've got a main stage at PAX and you've been teasing it for weeks?

Just dumb.

Same. Or might revisit BL2 with the 4K texture pack to see how the update looks.
