Just clear your mind a bit, I am talking about myself now and I am hiring a wise phrase the "bleach reporter" from Amara's logic podcast. That dude although young he has it all in one phrase. "I prefer winning over loyalty". Bucks are stuck in nostalgia mode too much. If Doc keeps playing Brook after the deadline... I quit watching Bucks regular season. I will tune in to the playoffs to watch our 1st -2nd round exit.
The league is rigged and staged so my advice to you all is to take care of yourself off sports, in real life. Don't get emotionally to much attached with the team right now. 2021 was awesome ... Thank you. We were hungry back then... Now we are old , slow and all those hungry players are now fathers with kids and loaded with tens-hundreds of millions to spend.

Imagine those that call bobby old and slow and not able to handle the defensive assignments needed for this team are considered casuals by people like yourself, only for you to state later in your manifesto that we are indeed "old and slow."

Casuals always are quick to call others casuals when they don't understand what they're talking about.

Everything outside of trading Giannis is officially on the table for me this week. It's time to get weird (I don't actually think we're going to do much and everyone will be disappointed is my prediction).

I see our fundamental problem to be this: inability of our guards to be lockdown point of attack defenders.

We are losing therefore to every team that has quick, agile attacking guards who beat our poa defenders again and again and again.

We are playing Dame for his star offense because we have only Giannis left who is the superstar offensive player. Dame is leaving a big hole in the poa defense even though his offense is good.

None of the other guards or even sf s is a consistently good poa defender.

Lumbering wings like Crowder was a bad choice last year.

At this point we need agile poa defenders more than anything else.

Blaming Brook for getting beaten by quick guards at the poa spots is completely a misplaced thing to do.

In the next few days, Horst should try to get 2 good poa defending guards.

Simultaneously, Doc must try Tyler Smith, Livingston and AJ Johnson to see if any or aal of them can be good poa defenders. This is CRUCIAL to test out starting Today, not later.

That’s all I have to say now.

What if I told you there might be available a 23-year old Swiss army knife, 6-8" athletic lockdown forward along with a 30-year old PG with a ring, who is starting and playing 35mpg for a West team with a 32-16 record? And maybe just maybe these two players could be acquired for Dame Lillard.

Is that something you might be interested in?

We really should've been looking at overhaul trades in the summer time. We've kind of backed ourselves into a corner by allowing the rest of the league to see that we're a team held together solely by the duct tape that is Giannis.

To me, that was obvious last season (and even before that) but we don't need to relitigate that.

I think a rebuild could happen way quicker than people think if Dame got moved and the team went more defensive orientated. Dame, Brook, Khris are too much to cover up and Dame is the most consequential bad defender that puts everyone else in bad position. Defend, rebound, get out in transition, it use to be a strength of this team. Heliocentric Giannis can work if everybody else can shoot, defend, play their role. Or it doesn’t but all I can say is what the team right now is a definitive pretender. Giannis leading younger hungry guys would be entertaining & hopeful for the future than getting humiliated with veterans. Like look at teams Miami took to the finals, you don’t need names you need guys who play the right way and buy into the culture.

I think my total dawg infusion idea would work better than what we’re doing rn

I am hoping we can get two lockdown/good poa defenders by Feb 6. If we get even any poa defender better than our current lot, I would get him.

I know Brook has been bad but it's insane that he's playing his highest MPG since 2015-16. Before Bobby was out for the past week+. And he's played every game. Dumb

Unless the Bucks are dumb enough to take Beal then Phoenix isn’t getting Jimmy, who else would take the guy that he’d waive his NTC for? It comes down to how serious Jimmy is about only being interested in Phoenix, it doesn’t make a lot of sense why he’s rejecting places like Memphis or GS. Is he willing to sit the rest of the season and go into FA?

Can we get Reed Sheppard in a FVV/Eason for Dame deal?

I'm fine with looking at Dame trade options this summer. But I see no way they will do it this week, without ever seeing how Dame/Giannis do in the playoffs together.

Any explanation why Jimmy would come here with a good attitude after he told Golden State he won’t extend there?

A pissed off Jimmy demanding a trade to Phoenix after opting in seems like worst case scenario in the summer when Giannis may be asking out.

Am legitimately asking to be clear!

The corrupt Luka deal setting a flamethrower to the notion of even a semblance of loyalty from ownership btw players and even fans is so bad for our chances of retaining Giannis.

Trading Dame or Khris on the cheap just got riskier from that perspective. If it doesn’t work out we might be done.

Question: could we offer Giannis a no trade clause as part of an extension?

I get that it looks like he's sleepwalking right now, but there isn't any reason to think that Dame won't at least put in more effort in the playoffs. Dude's 34 in the dog days of the NBA season. I think it's fair to say he turned it up a gear last postseason, we just didn't have Giannis, and he was playing through injury.

Or we really think he just doesn't care and is content to put up ppg while his career comes to an end in Milwaukee of all places?

Still probably a 2nd round ceiling, but a locked in Dame and Giannis (on both sides of the court) for at least one playoff run is worth a shot.

This is the trade I keep coming back to.

I'm not going to recreate it, but I was able to get a 4 way MKE/HOU/LAL/OKC trade to work where the basic nuts and bolts for us were (of course, a bunch of filler pieces had to move around Conny, Marjon, Prince, Wright, etc...):

Houston: Dame for FVV/Eason/Adams
LAL: Brook for Hachimura/Vanderbilt
OKC: Portis for Wiggins

FVV - Rollins
Wiggins - Green - Trent
Hachimura - Middleton
Giannis - Eason
Vanderbilt - Adams

Would need a buyout big and potentially PG. Gets us under second apron and substantially younger/more athletic/versatile.
Please reconsider your animal consumption.

There is no inclination that Giannis is going to ask out, let’s not put that evil out in the universe.

I don’t think it’s a realistic idea to want to trade for Jimmy as a rental and not pay him, if he doesn’t want an extension from us then he doesn’t want to be here obviously tho. It’s hard to know what’s going on in the mind of Jimmy.

They should offer Giannis a NTC, a piece of ownership, and a bronze statue while he’s still playing if that’s what it takes
