Forgot to mention it but I was at the Detroit game and watched Jabari doing some shooting drills. At the end before he went to the locker room he had a pretty nice between the legs dunk...looked good.

Should Jabari try to change his game up and rely more on his jumper? Or should he stay aggressive? That knee scares the **** out of me.

More jumper, still some aggressive drives, but yeah want to see a lot more jumper.

That video posted on the previous page is exactly what I want him to be doing. Straight line drives with some bully ball and then just a sniper. I know it was edited, but if he can hit those types of shots and his shot looks much faster, he can reinvent himself somewhat as more the Carmelo Anthony type player that people envisioned.

But I wouldn't say this is where either Jabari's major injuries came from, rather the desire to run through a wall or figure out a way to circumvent it as he goes along. In that way it's high risk. None of those were landing injuries, unlike Rose. Those were sudden change of direction ones where the lead leg was far ahead of the trailing.

Interesting that the 3 biggest examples were Chicago guys. I don't know if that has anything to do with a hyper-competitive play-style or how they're taught or naught.

I think the landing is just a constant risk if he continues the odd one legged landings which is pretty avoidable if he just keeps putting focus on it. I did see that video from a couple of weeks ago, it looked like he was much more actively trying to soften his landing which is good.

I'm so excited to have him back out there, hopefully his scoring really helps our bench this year and would be good to see some of him and Giannis out there in transition again.

Looked up Shawn Kemp highlights, to compare, as Kemp was such a ferocious and crazy-athletic dunker and leaper who never really had leg injuries. Sure enough, he always seems to land on his toes...

Yeah, I mean it makes a lot of sense what he is saying, just never heard anyone bring that angle up before. But I've cringed many times when Jabari is coming down on those dunks yelling at the TV "DUDE BE CAREFULLLLL!"

I'll believe jabari is back when I see it in a game, but him going back with and playing a perpetual three man break with Gianni's and bledsoe will be the greatest show on wood

In a heartbeat. Tobias right now is what Parker’s best case scenario is anyway

Bucks tricked me into being a diehard in 2001, LeBron is the 2nd best player ever, and pizza is awesome.

I Was thinking the Same and hes signed for 16m/yr for the next two seasons, who would need to add value in that deal though? Detroit or Bucks?

His best case scenario? At age 21 Parker was putting up more points, more boards, more assists, more steals, more blocks than Tobias is right now at age 25.

Not to mention I dont think Tobias is a 48 percent 3 point shooter, he reminds me alittle of Bobby Simmons. No thanks.

Bobby Simmons is Harsh...Tobias has been productive ever since his opportunities and playing time increased after being traded from Milwaukee. I think Jabari if Healthy obviously is the more valuable player, but Tobias can give the Bucks Jabaris production without the likely 20+ mil salary and fear of injury risk. that said im high on both guys even with Jabaris injury history, but a move for tobias would give us flexibility to explore options with Middleton too and would make the bucks better imo

Bobby Simmons was also a pretty damn good basketball player before the ankle injury derailed his career. But as Bucks fans, we're used to only viewing players post-injury and wondering "what could have been". Ford, Redd, Bogut, Simmons, Jabari, etc.

Tobias isn't a 48% 3 pt shooter. That's the only thing that's different this year. He's a 16 ppg guy that gets 5 or 6 boards and a couple assists. He also isn't exactly a lockdown defender. He is just a guy. I don't get the love.

Come on man, he certainly wasnt bad but im not giving up on Jabari for Bobby Simmons. At this point your locked into keeping Jabari for better or worse
