I just finished it. Bear with me, I tend to watch through a philosophical & psychological lens. For me, it was a satisfying conclusion. That show was always weird, and they cranked it to 11 in the last season, but I said what you did a dozen times while watching (what the hell is this?). In the end, to me, it was about wanting to feel special, important, regardless of what it does to everyone around you. Call it selfishness, entitlement, narcissism, whatever, it was also a social commentary on where we are as humans (kind of like where the new Aziz special goes). I think the zombie choice is cliche but spot on. These characters were all trying to fill giant voids in their vapid lives. I like that it ended how it began, with her looking at a missing person poster. Dory wanted to help find someone but it was totally self-serving. They were all so selfish, which must have been fun to play. I never really loved any of the characters or the story but kept watching because I felt there was some humanity and a mirror there. It was definitely a series you had to keep an open mind about and certainly not perfect.
Anywho, that was long-winded and a slight ramble but I'm on day 5 of quarantine/isolation from my family so I have lots of time. I'm glad someone else watched that show.
