I'm not a gymologist or anything, but it seems like he has very minimal core and lower body strength, at least functional strength because he gets displaced with any contact. It might not be about gaining 15 pounds, but if what Shafty posted was true, he has had very very little professional lifting and instructions and seems to have a great frame.

Very excited about the kid and doubly excited to see how excited Giannis is for him when he does well. Seems like maybe he is taking Marjon on as a project to develop personally.

I weigh ten pounds more than when I was 22 and maybe 1 or 2 more more of muscles if I'm being generous.

I'm not saying he's done growing but he's not exactly on the Giannis trajectory either.

I love the pick and him developing into a starter would be amazing for this team. I personally just have him with a lower ceiling than some. I know he has a complicated background, but he essentially spent 3 years training and playing with a semi pro team. It's not like he wasn't working on his body previously from what I can tell.

What does that have to do with my comments? For the record I weighed 8 stones and 11 pebbles

His build doesn't look that bad to me. Biggest thing is probably his lower body.

He hasn't had professional trainers, and even more importantly a nutritionist to help him out.

He could be a beast.

I'm fairly certain at one point tonight Steve Novak rereferred to MJB as a 19 year old. Where's the yearbooks.

Yeah we've got one here. He doesn't need to put on much size, just needs to learn how to use his body better. What an excellent pick.

Casual after the whistle dunk jump from Giannis range. With no prior knowledge you'd guess he was a top 3 pick. Bonus points for Giannis interacting with him on court more than anyone ever not related to him. Giannis is sold, I'm sold. **** love this guy.

You gotta shoot higher than this if you want it to be impressive. Ain't nobody trying to get excited about Ochai Agbaji. "With better luck, this guy could have been Aaron Nesmith."

I guess it's weird to me that a lot of people kinda forgot he was a 5-star HS prospect and put too much stock into the age and multiple schools thing. My only real concern was the outside shooting but he's already looking like he's a serviceable corner-3 guy on Day-1. Also....15.1 PPG on 63.8% TS in the G-league without a reliable 3PT shot should probably have been the first clue that he's not some super limited offensive guy like a lot of the weird comps that people were initially making (Thybulle, Covington).

Not used to being impressed as hell with a young Bucks player. Not just in a, "He can do some things and it looks like he'll be a positive player", but more in a way that makes you wonder how high the ceiling is if he's already this good.
