https://www.basketball-reference.com/coaches/riverdo01c.html

Was looking at Doc's head coaching career and realized/remembered that the year Bucks went to ECF in 2001 and beat Orlando in 4 in the first round, Orlando was coached by... Doc Rivers. His second year after winning Coach of the Year in his first.

Bingo CBS now disputing CNN. Woj(Doc), Shams(bucks), haynes(Dame/Giannis) all still quiet.

Never seen so much pining for someone with a 118-190 record as a HC. 1-4 in the playoffs. 8-)
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Is the drama ever going to end this season?

If there's anything we've learned, records don't always tell the whole story.

Plus the game seems like it's passed Doc by :dontknow:

They don't. But what else is there with Kenny? His teams didn't suck as bad as expected?

I like this hire. Much better than Griffin. The Bucks need a different voice with credibility and command.

Also red flag is Haynes would simply need to retweet his an employers reporting which he hasn't done.

Maybe it was more sudden than we know.

No, you don't want this to be leaked. You make a list of candidates you think will be available in all likelihood, but that's it.

It’s definitely going to be Doc in the end, even if CNN jumped the gun.

I don't think there are a lot of good options of the candidates we did look at, so I'm not as much championing Kenny Atkinson as the next best coach, but rather think he's gotten the most out of his nets teams before that front office got convoluted and they ousted him. I think going back to being an assistant with Kerr has helped him evolve his game.

I guess we'll just have to see if Doc has one last run in him...
