Shots fired from Fox:

"They know I am going to give all I got, but at the end of the day the organization has also got to give all they got, that’s where we are right now."

”Are we looking like we’re continuing to get better year after year and are we going to compete at a high level? That’s all mine is, if we could show that this year, you sign an extension now," Fox said about what he thinks about the timing of extending. "If not, I still have another year. But that’s where my mindset is: At some point will we be able to compete for a championship or compete at a high level for a long time."

Caruso could only dream of shooting 45% on volume.

Caruso shot 40% from 3 last year, and is pretty easy to see DFS is due for a huge regression, considering he's never been remotely close to this level of shooting.

Over the 2 previous seasons DFS averaged 8 ppg despite full time minutes with a 54TS%, a long with no ball handling or passing ability. He's quite simply one of the games biggest offensive zeros.

Feel like Fox is a guy who would always be working to get out of Sacramento. Even if they were winning.

This is why we're so lucky to have Giannis and his loyalty.

I don’t like this all that much, but:

Mke: Clowney, Cam Thomas
Bkn: Pat, ‘31 1st (protect it how you’d like)

You could send marjon in the deal, too.

We’d get a big back with more defensive versatility than Bobby and brook who can also shoot the ball. Cam would give us another creator.

I don’t think you could really play Dame and Cam together which is a major concern, but Image

Dude has had multiple past seasons of shooting 37-39% on volume and that's more than translated to the postseason (41% career) whereas Caruso's always been a 2-3 attempt per game dude that defenses are happy to leave wide open. I get you think that DFS is due for an age regression but the reality is that he's still a really damn good 3&D player right now, big-time contrarian takes aside.

I doubt there's a deal out there for a player we want to add to this roster for the package of Marjon, Pat and Bobby but if DFS is available then I'm in.

We're past December 15th so for the right player I'd attach one of the rookies. Maybe that gets us somewhere.

Sure, but you think no one else would want Fox? Pretty sure Orlando or San Antonio would make monster offers.

To sum it all up. We probably trade our bottom of the roster for a lottery pick scratch off.

Does Vivek feel that way though, or is he getting itchier to shake it up to keep things with Fox from spiraling?

At the moment Fox is saying he won’t demand a trade this offseason but if he won’t extend with just a season left then Sacramento might have to cut the cord either way.

Khris is cooked so that ship has sailed.

Keep the team together unless Pat and the ‘31 pick brings back anything of significance. These guys seem to love each other. Cut Marjon if you need a roster spot.

Fox also isn't the level of player that any franchise should be bending over backwards to appease. Sacramento is absolutely a team we need to take advantage of in a panic trade scenario though. They don't have a true playable big outside of Sabonis right now.

I'm no cap trade savant that many of you are but I'm curious how people feel about Jerami Grant.

Risky chemistry wise but if Portland for some reason was willing to do Midd for Grant straight up I probably do it. Beyond his playmaking Middleton has been abysmal on both sides and age/miles aren’t going to make it better.

Khris has played 4 games. Can't judge anything he's done on the court yet. I'm not saying he'll be his usual playoff self, there's still 4 months to go, but to say he's been "abysmal" this year is premature.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.
