Two dribbles from 3/4 court and he's at the basket. That's some scary **** when you have two of those guys on the court at the same time.

The best part is he blocks the jumper while fighting through a pick. Dat defense...

I don't mean to rain on their parade, but even I could run, dunk, and put up 41 points against that trio of 6'3 guards from West Virginia.

Then erase it from your memory and watch him put up 30 against Brown and Smart.

Oh by the way, Marcus Smart went 1-7 with 4 points against that backcourt you could put up 41 against.

Been watching & reading a ton of stuff about the top guys. If Embiid were to come here I think he'd form a tremendous bond with Giannis.

I think a few years from now it will be looked back upon as Enbiid, Parker, (maybe Wiggins). I would be pumped if they took Wiggins but I worry about a delusional optimism always perpetually disappointing me, "if he would just ..."

I watched way too many of these kids college games, interviews, and read way too many scouting reports. Embiid plays basketball, Parker plays basketball, Wiggins is just on the court. Yes, Wiggins D is very nice and Parker drifts in and out of making good defensive decisions. I question whether I really want a player who plays good D and can knock down a jumper, while once in a while driving past his overplaying defender is really worth the #2. I mean, that is a great player to have ... as your number three guy.

I give Wiggins a 1.7% chance of being a top 5 player, but we've seen those odds succeed before.

Nah, gotta be at least a 2.3% chance.

I gotta admit Jabari looks good in that video. Really looks slimmed down and quick, almost looks like he could be a big SG. I'd be more than fine taking him at #2.

ETA: Assuming Embiid goes #1. If Embiid is on the board you have to take him.

I have to admit that I am warming up to Parker at #2.

My ever fluid top three in order...

Embiid
Parker
Wiggins

How badly would Parker get killed on defense if we played him at SG? Honestly, if he could play SG, I would easily put him ahead of Wiggins. I just hate the idea of drafting a guy that plays Giannis' best position. I don't think there is anyway Parker can legitimately play the 4 in the NBA. I guess if we draft Parker we could eventually make Giannis our PF, but I kind of like Giannis at the 3.

Did anyone in the workouts miss a shot? I didn't think his dunking ability was in doubt. The video probably doesn't change anyone's opinion on Parker.

You aren't surprised by his quickness? Or how slim he looks? I was a pretty big Parker hater, but that video has started to change my opinion a bit.

I'm just catching up on all of these work out videos. It's crazy how well Austin can shoot for being so lanky and only having one eye. You'd think his lack of depth perception would kill any chance he'd have at hitting a 3. Impressive. Though I think at just under 6'1, I may weigh more than him. Dude needs to start eating and hit the weight room.

I don't think anyone said he couldn't score. Embiid was the one with health issues not Parker, so seeing him fit and able to dunk doesn't surprise me. All these players have been prepping for the workouts so they should be trim and muscled up. If they were fat and out of shape it would surprise me.

Jabari does have a lot of Tobias in his game. Looks good in this video, but I'm sure they all will to a certain extent. I've always liked Jabari & would warm up to it if we picked him...but wait til' Wiggins has one of these videos. This board will meltdown from the swag.

Yeah, I really can't wait for the Wiggins and Exum vids.

That is why they don't go to the combine. They don't want to be compared to someone else. They give you a show of what they do well.

Loved that Parker video. He looked like a stud.

A couple problems with these videos though. Most are shot at ground level. At that angle people see speed and power up close that they usually don't see when watching the NBA from a normal high court angle. If you sit courtside at an NBA game, almost ALL of the players look ridiculously impressive as to how fast they move and how quick they can handle the ball.

Second piece is the shooting prowess In a workout. Again most people don't see really good basketball players work out. Watch some D1 college players warm up in a serious fashion. You'll see them hit shots right and left from all over the court.
