Bridges is a very rangy and aware team defender and that is the core of his value. He's unselfish on both ends but understands that shooting isn't a selfish act. His ceiling is wherever his ball handling ends up. I don't think he's close to where he's going to end up athletically either. Certainly respect that all these things could have been said about Corey Brewer.

That is my problem with him. His ball handling is lacking in a major way. I'm not saying he can't improve on it and plenty of guys have made unexpected strides regarding ball handling, but he needs to improve a lot on it to even make a difference. And the guy has been in college for 4 years (redshirt junior). I wouldn't put my hopes up very high that he's going to be more than a very high end role player.

If we move on from Bledsoe I'd be thrilled to land him at 17 and I think he will end up being the best PG in this draft (not counting Luka as a PG because he'll guard the 3 most often).

I've never seen him play. Just talking about how he comes off in interviews.

This guy wears socks in the shower just like Bynum. Better draft him.

I mean nothing wrong with a role player if that is what you are looking for. He's still going to be very useful since he's cost controlled for 4 years. I'd hate if a rebuilding team would draft him though.

Also really like De'Anthony Melton, Shamorie Ponds, and Kevin Huerter.

Lakes, Rivers, and Ponds has a nice ring to it. (no idea who it is..yet to really look at the draft and didn't pay much attention to college)

With Allen and Delly out there at the same time, no ankles are safe.

I would have no problems with us taking Zhaire Smith. He shot over 40% from three but I don't know if it is sustainable with him. His athleticism and defense would really help the team. We absolutely need a sniper from distance though which I don't know if he will ever be. I would love to see us move up to get Bamba also. I know very little about Mitchell Robinson but something about him says there are red flags everywhere. I would absolutely love to have a second to get Wagner cuz I think he is going to be the steal of the second round like Brogdon was. He has good post skills, can shoot the three, and has an insanely quick first step for a big man. I also think his defense and rebounding will be fine. He would be a solid bench player/spot starter IMO.

Keep forgetting Ponds, but that kid can ball. He'd be on that next step down with Jacob Evans.

I'd say after Melton and Porter, I'd go Jacob Evans, but he's a full step down as a prospect. There's no imaginable scenario where I'd take Walker or Holiday 17th, which isn't to say I think either of them are hopeless.

I hear you. I’ve watched quite a bit of Holiday out here on the West Coast. To me, he’a a high floor player. At 17, given what the Bucks have been drafting lately, I’d be fine with it. Walker is my very poor man’s Mitchell so I’m trying to get over not fetching Mitchell.

What can you tell me about Evans? I have seen very little.

Tough, good defender, walls up on drives and controlled in closeouts, good decision machine, good passer, good shooter, not overly quick and an average ball handler, but protects the ball. Cincy had two really good, tough players (best defense in the NCAA was no accident) who both seem to me like they'll translate to NBA roles really well.

So would Sterling Brown (HS teammate). Personally not crazy about his game offensively, bit of a hero, but he's a bulldog with super quick hands so I get it.
