I'd love to get Sweet Lou in here! What do you all think it would take ( I know his value is really high right now)..... BTW, I'm down with the Thon for RoLo deal as well, even if we'd have to add some other trash to the deal.....

What about Favors, Hood and Bradley for Middleton, Vaughn and Wilson?

Bledsoe, Hood, Parker, Giannis, Favors

A good portion of LouWill's value is tied into him shooting 7.2 3PA in 31.9 minutes per game. Middleton, the Bucks' highest volume 3 shooter, averages a career high 5.6 3PA in a career high 37 mpg.

The Bucks system would not be able to get the same value out of Williams as he is currently getting with the Clippers.

He's having a great year though.

Rolo is definitely an upgrade from Thon, but I don't like his rebounding numbers. There are a couple other big men I would try to get before him. But if they can move Thon and say Delly or Snell for Rolo, I would do it. I would love to get those salaries off the books early.

True, I just presume he could be had fairly cheap.

Hood would be a horrible get. He's going to get paid and we can't afford him.

I get it, but he can score on ISO, plus this team desperately needs someone that can score the ball regardless of any other criterion. Lou can score the ball, that's what he does. Snell and dare I say Midds aren't consistent enough to keep teams honest from just packing the paint and keeping Giannis away. IMHO team needs are a 5 and a wing that can score the ball especially jump shooting. Obviously the 5 is the most glaring, but the lack of scoring (especially consistent jump shooting) is fast becoming almost as glaring...

Just thinking out loud but could a Kemba/Bledsoe backcourt work? I think it would be pretty interesting.

Anyone is payable, the send out just has to match what they will get paid the following year.

Yeah good luck convincing the owners to pay consecutive luxury tax while not even being a contender.

What? I am saying that you are able to pay anyone as long as you have that much salary shipped out. You can give Parker $10 million more to make it $16/yr but you need to have that Telly salary off the books.

Deadline mission: Acquire all Plumlees, all Zellers, Frank Kaminsky, Keep Delladova, Nick Stauskas, Sam Dekker, Jimmer Fredette, and Bucket of ass himself Joe Alexander. Keep Thon, Brogdon, Giannis, Parker.

Now would that be Waukesha County Bucks DNA or what? Season tickets sold out in a second.

The whole coach situation clouds everything. But I'd consider Jabari and Delly/Telly for Kemba/Dwight. Think a Kemba, Bledsoe, Brogdon guard group would be interesting. Might fail miserably but the right coach could figure that out. Relegate Khris and Snell to spot up shooters. Let Giannis and Dwight work inside.

Giannis would never see the ball in this offense.

Favors, Rubio, and the corpse of Dante Exum

Bucks: Dedmon, Belly, Pelicans 2nd
Pelicans: Snell, Luke Babbit
Hawks: Thon, Wilson, Ajinca, Rondo (waived)

The Hawks probably don't want bad long term money like Snell or Delly so this saves them that. New Orleans probably overvalues Snell. Maybe they toss a future 1st around? We get better now & have more money his summer.

Is there really much / any chance we trade Bledsoe so soon?

He has been good enough, healthy, and not a locker room problem, where he has likely increased his value from where it was in Phoenix. Right?

If the Cavs want to make a move to shore up their defense maybe they'd be interested in guys like Delly, Snell, Henson or (in a bigger deal) Bledsoe.

The Cleveland Cavaliers were hemorrhaging points on defense even before Isaiah Thomas made his long-awaited season debut.

Jae Crowder hasn't lived up to his reputation as a tough and rugged 3-and-D wing. He's also out of position, a 6-foot-6 small forward moved over one spot to accommodate Cleveland's other starters. JR Smith has taken a massive step back, falling from his "best-defensive-player" perch that he was placed on by head coach Tyronn Lue a few years ago. LeBron James' effort fluctuates. Kevin Love is asked to protect the paint in a new small-ball, all-shooters starting lineup. Tristan Thompson hasn't been nearly as disruptive.

Cleveland has a personnel problem.

But the biggest stands just 5-foot-9. It's Thomas, who has been among the league's worst defenders for years and is already the team's weakest.

Add it all up and Saturday's result happens, with the Cavs allowing 148 points, matching the most in franchise history, tying the horrible mark set in 1972 when the Cavs were an expansion team.

The Cavs don't have the pieces to be a championship-caliber defense. And their bad habits turn it from poor to embarrasing rather quickly. At this point, becoming respectable would be an enormous victory and even that's unlikely given the players dotting the roster.

There's no one to protect [Isaiah Thomas] like Boston did, no one to take the assignment against the NBA's best point guards. And there's no rim protection to help the Cavs mitigate the constant off-the-dribble attacks.
