Top 59 protected. The John Hammond special.

The actual reason is because they don't have roster spots.

Adding 2 picks for 1 pick won't help, though. Which is of course why you need to consolidate these things.

If Sengun is as good as I've read and heard I'd make that trade in a heartbeat.
You think the worst team in the NBA should be trading multiple 1sts? Seems short sighted even if Sengun is really good (fwiw, I like the pick; just that they overpaid).

Of course there could be enormous protections out there.

I would guess the picks are protected but we’ll see. At any rate Green and Sengun is a huge coup for Houston IMO. My #4 and #6 prospects in the draft.

Yes, but as we were talking before they've tried. They'll get more opportunities.

I love how ESPN have given up any pretense now thanks to Woj leaks. They're literally talking up the next draft pick for the entire time a team is on the clock and caveating it with "now we don't know if he will be the pick" over and over...

Jalen Johnson is a better fit in ATL than Cam Reddish.

Hold on. Did we get two picks tonight and 4 more in the future or 4 total picks? Do we know yet?

I watched Johnson win state and he looked like a nba player against future d1 guys and a future nba player in Mike foster who is a year younger. He couldn’t hit a jump shot at all though and it’ll be interesting to see him develop. Kinda like a Ben Simmons type of guy

I haven't seen him play, only highlights and that's who he reminded me of, minus the all-world passing ability.

Yea I would say he’s more of a willing passer instead of a high vision, high volume assist guy like Ben

Yo, I was in the building for that one too. Rooting for Washington unfortunately.

Knicks draft someone.
Espn analysts "great pick, one of the steals of the night".
Knicks fans get hyped.
Knicks trade the pick for another.

Repeat.

The Cartier game is strong tonight, Cade with the black buffs, Jackson with the woods and brown tints. I love to see it, don’t expect many here to relate
