Re: Wisconsin Badgers Thread
I always liked Kirk, even hung out with him once.
I always hated Brad Davidson. Spazzy, try hard without any originality or style.

Adding Davison continues the terrible decision making done by Wisconsin sports teams.

I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Re: Wisconsin Badgers Thread
Somehow I missed that the team now has a General Manager, Marc VandeWettering.
"VandeWettering will work directly alongside head coach Greg Gard to oversee recruiting strategy, player personnel, roster construction, and NIL revenue-sharing, all while continuing to handle non-conference scheduling."

Re: Wisconsin Badgers Thread
Brad Davidson seems like the guy in high school who is a senior on the JV team and still has voice cracks and shouts out things like "coach is right, guys" and "some of you are giving 100% but we need 110%"

He's the 4th assistant. Relax
Listen, I honestly am not sure I can remember a more polarizing recent player. There are going to be feelings.
I for one will be blaming him for absolutely everything that goes wrong until proven otherwise

Davison the player was annoying as ****.
But I absolutely could see him being a good coach.

The guy gave 110% at all times and tried to play the game smart (although yes, sometimes a bit on the line of dirty). He will be a great coach that pushes players to give it more effort and listen to the Xs and Os.

As long as he doesn’t teach the nut punch, the ‘dark arts’ he was an expert at can only help

Re: Wisconsin Badgers Thread
I saw bits and pieces of it. They couldn't make a shot in the 1st half and Oklahoma was shooting really well but Wisconsin completely dominated them on the glass and in the turnover battle. In the 2nd half the shooting picked up but the rebounding and turnover battle evened out a good bit.
In terms of biggest positives for the season were that Bieliauskas played solid in 13 minutes of play, Garlock played 8 and he didn't look like a deer in the headlights. Elijah Gray didn't play at all which was a bit surprising to me. But I think one of the biggest goals for the season should be to get about 20 minutes of play out of frontcourt players not named Rapp and Winter and I feel a bit better about that possibility than I did yesterday.

Yea he had future coach written all over him from the first few games we saw him play. On short notice and as a beginner level assistant not sure you could do much better, they'll get to see how he does at it. I just hope he can coach shooting or helps have an eye on scouting for it, I don't think its a coincidence that issue got fixed once Penny came around.
Aaron Craft was another. Just looked, turns out when he quit basketball he went back to OSU Medical School. Still won't surprise me when he pops up 10 years from now as a coach
Resident Lillard truther since 2015.
