So what happens with Giannis Antetokounmpo.

What is your proposed final roster like l laid out.

Giannis is, or will be, one of the most versatile players in the entire league. You're talking about a 6'11 guy who can handle the rock and has elite court vision and instincts. There is absolutely zero concern about how any guy will "fit" with Giannis. To add to that, Wiggins is a 6'8 swingman who will be able to guard the 1-3, and Parker is a hybrid 3/4, who would play in the front court with Giannis, both of whom would have one of the league's best rim protectors behind them.

The worst thing in the world to do would be to pass on superior talent for some guy who "fits" better. And I don't even agree that Randle would fit better anyway. I think Jabari will essentially be able to do everything Randle can do (more or less), and a sh*tload more.

Well I expect him to be a ZBo type and for the record, ZBo posted several 20 and 10 seasons. And he is a lot better defender then Parker. Parker is the more polished scorer. But I figured the team would got to Giannis for that as he develops his game.

Don't get me wrong. I do like Parker.

So since you won't be using Middleton much anymore. How about a Webster for Middleton trade ?

Why? There is literally no reason for the Bucks to do this trade. How about Beal for Middleton and 31st overall pick?

Also, in Ford's "Rumors" piece he mentions the Bucks as a team to try to move up/acquire another pick. Since the only place to go up would of course be No. 1, who would you like to see us snap up if we acquired another first in the 14-20 range? (who knows how high/low of a first they are targeting)

Elfrid Payton, James Young or, if they're there, Stauskas or Nurkic would be picks that I'd get excited about.

Wiggins at #2. I would also be extremely happy with Parker though. I honestly think Wiggins is capable of being a very good sg, despite what I have read about him. Watching film of him, I couldn't believe how quickly he can gather and jump, he is going to block a lot of shots in the NBA, especially if he plays sg. Parker is considered the elite scorer, but keep in mind Wiggins was only a couple ppg. behind him.
I really hope Embiid is off the board . I think he is a big gamble, a gamble the Bucks can't afford to take. We absolutely have to hit it big on this pick. I would be willing to bet that the center postition has had the most busts overall in the draft over the years, mainly due to injuries, Embiid has already had a major injury. In other years, I would make the gamble on Embiid, but not when you have Wiggins, Parker, Randle, Smart, and Exum as consolation prizes.

I'd have to think that Elfrid would be our top target if we acquired another 1st, but I'd be really intrigued by trying to sign Jimmer this summer if we draft Parker, and then just for fun pick up 2 more first rounders and go after Warren and Hood. Our defense would be crap but our offense would be so much fun :D

I was actually thinking Randle would be great for MIL.

Maybe you can trade Larry Saunder to NY for Tyson Chandler and pick Wiggins or Parker and trade them. You might be able to get someone to take on OJ Mayo as well. You don't want players like Mayo and Saunders on your team.

I like something more like...

Brandon Knight/Nate Wolters
Khris Middleton/OJ Mayo - Sessions if you are able to resign him.
Giannis Antetokounmpo/Carlos Delfino
Ersan Ilyasova/Julius Randle
Tyson Chandler/John Henson/Zaza Pachulia

I think building around something like that makes more sense then adding Wiggins or Parker

Not that I don't like Parker a lot. He would be a nice addition but at some point you need to clear the clutter and the pieces have to fit together. Its a basketball team. You already have Greek Freak and KM and BK. Let them get their thing going and then Randle replaced Ersans, Chandler leaves to clear cap and Henson steps in.

Saunder has to go. You don't want a player like that in your organization. Send him some place that does crazy well like New York.

Now if CLE is dumb enough to not pick Embiid, you gotta take him. He is going to be a beast.

After seeing BC's "**** Exum", I was thinking why not try to acquire one of those other top 4s without giving up the pick. It's a long shot (unless someone would bite on a future 1st, no Giannis) but would be a great way to set up the franchise.

I don't think they'd have anything comparable to Noah, Love, Aldridge or Horford as far as Cleveland is concerned if Cavs are looking to move the #1 for one of those players. Sanders could've been in that conversation without all of his public problems.

After more thought on the matter I just don't think I could pass up on Wiggins, although Jabari seems to be the ideal present compliment for Giannis.

The length, perimeter defense and lineup flexibility would be outstanding eventually I think. As far as Wiggins personally, I just think he's likely a homerun.

Ford says that Elfrid could go as high as #8 to the Kings, so why not dangle Knight for #8 and see what they say? Also have to assume that we are shopping Ersan for another 1st.

Yeah, according to our "Insider" Woelfel, they are looking at possibly moving Henson and Ersan for another 1st rounder. Also looking to give away Sanders. Not sure I buy that last part. We'll see I guess.

If we can somehow move Ersan and orchestrate getting another first-rounder, I'd pack his bags for him. Really took a step back last season, i know he battled injury, but looked nothing like the Ersan of the year prior. Would like to keep Henson if possible, but wouldn't be to heart broken if we dump him as part of a deal to bring in another pick.

because we ran a completely different offense that didn't suit Ersan's strengths (in addition to not sitting him down with the injury and letting it heal until the last week of the season). His strength is the pick and pop game and Drew ran way to many ISOs with him which he failed miserably at because he can't create his own shot. I think most teams will realize that and still value him as an efficient stretch 4 in the right offense.

Lots of teams with multiple 1sts:

Philly: 3/10
Orlando: 4/12
Utah: 5/23
Boston: 6/17
Charlotte: 9/24
Phoenix: 14/18/27
Chicago: 16/19
OKC: 21/29

Have to think there will be some trades this year. 8 teams have 17 out of the 30 1st rounders.

I wonder if 36 and 48 would get Phoenix's 27 or OKC's 29. I think there's a lot of talent in that range and having one of them + 31 would be awesome.

I'd do either of those. Like I said, I'd rather move up. Even if we only come out of this draft with 2 guys, I'm good with that.

That's what happens when you don't have a point guard on this team.

Players like Sanders & Ersan & Henson who create nothing look like garbage. Not saying there aren't other issues with those players, but that's a big one in my opinion.

I love the idea of going for a 2nd Lottery Pick. Shows the new owners commitment to rebuilding through the draft.

I just hope we keep Sanders and especially don't look to just give him away. He is 1 of the premier defenders in the league and actually likes being in MIL. Even beyond that, I just philosophically disagree with getting rid of an asset at its lowest point. The goal is to sell off at an asset's peak not its low point.
