* At times ball could be thrown ahead more to Dame and should play more through Dame

* Being even better offensively will help the defense

* Giannis still has the ball a lot and is trying too hard sometimes to be a scorer

* Giannis/Dame are not always playing to make each other better

* Dame trying almost too hard to fit in, which will work itself out

* Need veteran guard help on the bench

* Don't have that lockdown guard, Dame just needs to be asked to be in the right spots on defense

I don't hate these answers...

**** it, let's rock, Doc.

Doc had CP3 and Blake running the best two-man game in the league for years. Dame isn’t the passer CP3 was, but I’m confident one thing Doc will figure out is the Dame/Giannis two-man game.

I love this from Doc. Already more bball insight from a podcast snippet than all the word salad pressers Griffin gave as HC put together. Doc will make an immediate impact.

Yeah AG always sounded really dumb in interviews, this didn't inspire confidence after Stotts walking out. Then I got to watch 40 games with sparse enjoyment when we have Dame & Giannis  Happy day

Deflate the basketball to give Giannis an edge at the free throw line. Now we're thinking outside the box.

Not thrilled with the prospect of Rivers succeeding Griffin, but there aren't too many coaches out there who have won a title and have winning records as head coaches in both the regular season and post-season.

I think this situation screams for a veteran with significant head coaching experience. Taking over a team mid-season without the opportunity to assemble a coaching staff and conduct a training camp is brutal. Any "schemes" will likely be ultra-simplified.

Soooo many issues to deal with. Key veterans are getting older. The roster has been tilted so heavily towards offense, that defending seems like wishful thinking. Many role playing vets have been replaced by athletic youngsters who regularly disappoint. Veterans racking up minutes and games played, facing a difficult second half schedule.

Nothing should be taken for granted.

Our ode to Stotts being back with our team for a hot minute before our hot garbage disaster.

And take a little walk when the worst is to come
When I saw you looking like I never thought
And say you're at a loss or forgot
That words can do more than harm

And the town is gonna talk,
But these people do not
See things through to the very minimal
But what's it gonna cost to be gone
If we see you like I hoped we never would?

My eyes can't look at you any other way,
Any other way, any other way
When eyes can't look at you any other way,
Any other way, any other way

So take it as a song or a lesson to learn
And sometime soon be better than you were
If you say you're gonna go, then be careful
And watch how you treat every living soul

My eyes can't look at you any other way,
Any other way, any other way
When eyes can't look at you any other way,
Any other way, any other way

This person I know is well connected. There’s concerns about my trust just because they usually don’t say much, I don’t know them that well, so I don’t really know what to make of it. There’s no timeline so I would read this as turbulence - does that result in a firing at any moment? Probably, if this is accurate.

Wow so we've had over a month to find a dude... someone is already otw.. Prunty might get a game or 2 before it's announced to respect Griff

The "doc was advising him" thing doesn't matter much when you remember AG ran Stotts out of town because his ego couldn't handle anyone with clout questioning him.

Just saying, Rivers was reportedly advising Griffin about the last month and January was our worst month. Like, by a lot.

Also, is Doc Rivers our new coach or no? I've read conflicting reports.

I'm not sure what you're saying re: Dame following him but Stotts coached Schrempf.
