Ainge bringing his kid in to co-GM is already off to a rousing start.

Ainge did great in Boston and his first year in Utah. Been a mess ever since.

Ainge really only did great in Boston because Detroit, Charlotte and Miami were a bunch of idiots.
That is a Justice Winslow trade reference for you young ones

That’s going to be a massive buyout

He'll probably end up on the Lakers for a 1 year minimum somehow.

He's owed $35 million. It will be interesting to see how much the buyout is for.

Does Deandre Ayton even like basketball?

He'll probably be what Christian Wood should've been for LA, pretty mediocre.

That’s the problem. On the minimum it’s obviously a no brainer

There aren't things I want less in my team than a non competitive C. Whatever he had, I think Giannis broke.

Always thought Ayton lacked heart (and needed to stay on the gas). But if he was cheap, sure.

aytons size coordination combo makes him playable even if he half asses it a decent portion of the time. He can actually be good when he locks in but that's also what's made him a frustrating player his whole career. He's his generations Tim Thomas.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

If you can get Ayton on the min, or BAE if GTJ and KPJ split up the MLE, you kind of have to do it. Too much talent to pass that up for the Bucks. You hope that he’s motivated either by Giannis or by wanting to get another big contract to try for an entire season.

That said, the only reason he’d sign with the Bucks over anyone else is Giannis and not in the sense that he wants to play with Giannis, more in the sense that he probably still has PTSD from trying to cover Giannis in the finals so he doesn’t want to guard him.
