Someone wasn't a fan of of Shake it Up.

Accurate, since I don't know what it is.

Spoiler:
I totally thought Atlanta was a made up subplot but it was all true.

Interesting how they setup BTK and then did next to nothing with him.

I was worried the Brian subplot would feel too hokey. I feel this show is so good because it avoids the cop drama tropes but it worked. So creepy and makes me not wanna have or adopt kids.

Atlanta Monster is an amazing podcast about the Atlanta child murders. Fascinating and horrifying case.

BTK

Spoiler:
They are way behind his end in their timeline so my assumption is he will remain a backdrop the whole series. Have you noticed how many things they got wrong about him? "This guys doesn't go to church." "He can't maintain any relationship." I actually appreciate them showing the guys be off on their profiles at times, if they are constantly exactly on the money that's so unrealistic. It's a nice contrast.

Agreed, they were amazing.

And I think in this show's case the question revolves around what made him that way. I don't think that was the intent going in but seems the direction they are heading.

I just started Season 2 and the first episode hints at some of his past experiences; I imagine I'll see more of that as the season continues.

I get the criticism from Buck Dweller, but one of the things that's keeping me invested is the cast itself. Hader is one of the most versatile actors of his generation, IMO.

I think that's the problem that makes the show so fascinating - that, ostensibly, Gene and Sally are "worse" people than Barry, who's pretty much just a shell of a human being. But Barry does truly terrible things (some of which are not emotionless contracts or "him doing his job) that the others couldn't even dream of. And Hader is so damn charismatic that you want to feel sympathy for his character that really doesn't deserve it at all (which, in all honestly, would be true of a lot of truly terrible people in this world).

You are really missing out if you stopped halfway through season 2 of Barry

I think if you make it to **that** episode you're probably gonna stick it out to see if it gets even better (it doesn't).

I can't remember when in S2 this all happens but I thought the evolution of his backstory/experiences was incredibly done.

My wife likes it so have kept watching but I thought last season was downright boring and bad. This final season has been better but a little heavy handed on trying to address like every social issue of the world. Oh and it's way too damn long.

Am I the only one who’s not crazy about the MCU Spider-Man? It was fine I guess and an improvement over the Amazing SpiderMan films but I thought the character was a little too wannabe McFly for my tastes. I also don’t see what the big deal is for Sony, assuming they still own the rights to all the rest of the Spider-Man characters.

The MCU Spider-Man is perfect IMO.

There’s also a confirmed Obi Wan series coming, filming 2020. Presumably bridging story from the first and second trilogies.

Disney Plus is kind of sounding like it’s going to own TBH. I don’t watch a lot of TV but there are several shows I’m hyped for.
