I don't know about playing the 4 (just too small imo), but I don't see any reason why he wouldn't have a normal length prime of his career and a graceful decline. Smart players tend to age the best because they can learn/adapt most effectively.

Brogdon's size, build and wingspan are enviable. He's explosive enough and has good balance. Take all that together and I'd consider him a good athlete.

I think Brogdon should have a long career baring serious injury, he's so intelligent and uses his body so well. His game isn't based that much in his athleticism, he's pretty strong and has tremendous length for a guy his size

Got my ass!

Today’s Wiseman news reminded me how trash the NCAA is.

Would be awesome if he just signed a big ass sneaker contract and slid into the G League.

Anybody else think the Clippers improbably may have one more big trade in them? Something about that team is just not quite adding up to me.

They could go get Jrue, that would be pretty freakin scary.

Raptors smashed with injury. i shall not shed a tear purely based on their insufferable fanbase.

They'd have to lose one of Zubac, Harrell, and Lou Williams. Considering Zubac is their only true center I don't think they want to lose him. Lou and Harkless for Jrue? I think I'd do that. Lose some scoring, but much better defense and playmaking.

I think they need a rim protector.

Raptors suffer from the same fate as a lot of large market teams where the shear number of fans causes a lot of kooks who are always the loudest. They have a ton of great fans drowned out by a sea of MBBOTs.

Clippers need a rim-protector but even more than that, they actually need a play-maker/offensive initiator. I've said it earlier but their best pick & roll guy comes off the bench (Lou), and none of Beverly, Kawhi, or PG are guys who are really adept at creating good looks for others. If there's one thing that's gonna eventually sink that team, it's their tendency for their half-court offense to devolve into too many ISO's and forcing up tough shots.

That trade doesn’t make much sense for NOP though.

Anyone else think that the East looks pretty much even with the West?

I'm pretty sure the East currently has a winning record vs the West for the first time in forever. But, it's not unlike last year where the West is top heavy and then the next batch of teams come from the East before getting to West teams again. It's just that it's LAs on top now instead of GSW.

BTW: Odds as of this morning on my site still have the LA teams as co-favorites at 2.5-1. Bucks 3rd at 4-1. While I grant that if/when MKE plays an LA team in the finals that the LA team will be favored. At this point just due to how much more likely MKE is to make the Finals (as opposed to LA teams facing each other, plus Houston) I actually think MKE should be the favorite.

They're really going to make this stupid in-season tournament idea a thing, aren't they?

Yeah a million dollars is going to excite the minimum guys. Not the guys they want to involve

No i've seen a lot of quotes about owners thinking it was dead and confused why it was even a story.

I think its just WOJ farming clicks with a super slow trade season
