What's the point in bringing in someone like RoLo? He doesn't help us at all.

If we bring in a big, it should be someone that is playable in the playoffs.

Rather offer Hood and a 2nd to Atlanta for Dieng, and if they say they don't want to help a rival, tell OKC to get Dieng from Atlanta, and offer them the same thing with maybe another 2nd.

In a perfect world we get a quick footed, defensive minded big, who can shoot the 3 and rebound well, but what are we realistically getting? Are we going to get someone that's actually going to get playoff minutes? My thought is we need an NBA big to just take up minutes so we aren't throwing Giannis out there at the 5 in the regular season. I don't have much of an opinion on someone like RoLo, but we just need someone to not be awful during the regular season. In the playoffs, I'm guessing whoever we get probably won't see the court. I know it's super far off, but what's our playoff rotation look like?

PG: Jrue (38) Hill (10)
SG: G. Allen (24), Donte (24)
SF: Middleton (38), Pat (10)
PF: Giannis (28), Pat (20)
C:Portis (28), Giannis (10), Cousins (10)

This is just quickly off the top of my head, and maybe Nwora and Thanasis gets some minutes here and there. Cousins may get 0 minutes and the random big we get may need to play a bit. In any case, I'm not sure it really matters too much who we get because I don't think they will move the needle anyways.

Nah, I like Muscala as a fit here way better than Dieng.

Dieng is better at protecting the rim, no?

Lopez and DDV for Bamba and Ross.

I have been on the Bamba train for 2 years. Now is the time.

The way I see it we have 5 players available for trades:
Lopez (13.3M), DDV (4.7M), Hood (2.2M), Semi (1.8M), Nwora (1.5M)
ESPN Trade Machine say we also have 2 trade exceptions. DJ Wilson (4.9M) and Craig (1.6M)

Our target IMO should be C or PF who can shoot 3s.

So this is what I got: Love, Porzingis, Theis

How do you propose matching salaries for Love or Porzingis?

Hint: you cannot combine TPE as outgoing salary, a TPE must absorb an entire incoming contract.

That hint kind of make it impossible :D

How about Maxi Kleber as a trade target? He's an elit 3pt shooter for his size (6'10"). He also has an impressive BLK% of 4.4. In comparison, Capela's BLK% is 4.5. That said, he's more of a PF rather than a C.

My hope is Kevin Love gets bought out and he opts to sign for the Bucks over the Lakers. Not sure whether this is a realistic scenario.

Bamba seems like a realistic target. Most Magic fans are ready to move on from him. DDV+filler might be enough to get the job done.

Realistically we can't get another project player like Bamba. Our project guys are DDV and Nwora, and they're the most debated dudes on here.

Maybe I'm not seeing Bamba as being as polished as he is, but we need someone rehabing their career who has the talent and can learn a scheme quickly. Like Brook was. Like Hill was. Like Cousins should be. Turner could be that guy if he wasn't on one jillion dollars..

It's not like we would become a younger team. We'd just swap our young players (DDV + possibly Nwora) for another young player (Bamba). Difference is, Bamba happens to play at a position of need for us. That said, DDV is more NBA-ready than Bamba.

Why would Cleveland by him out? They're shooting for the POs and he's contributing.

Deadline deal and assuming Brook is (close to) getting back…

Bucks in Bamba + min from LAL
Lakers in Brook
Orlando in THT

Jrue/Hill
Allen/DDV
Midds/Pat
Giannis/
Bobby/Bamba

Return to Milwaukee Bucks
