Joker bends the game to his will almost as well as LeBron... That's the best compliment I can give him
Amos Barshad: "So you got a job, a place to live, a license? What’s left?"

Giannis: “Nothing. Just get a ring now.”

I just think it's a terrible contract at face value. Lots of substance to Bev being 75% the player at 20% the cost.

I think Philly and Orlando are going to swap spots.

This is the price you have to pay to try win a title. We should hope our owners will be willing to spend whatever it takes to win too. (edit: should add that to date they have been willing to do this).

Looking forward to Mavs/Clippers Round 1. Gotta start pivoting to other teams since imo the most likely scenario is Giannis is out for the first round and we aren't beating Phi/Mia/Ind without him.

All those "Scoot should have went 2nd over Miller" takes certainly aren't aging well. Charlotte deserves a win in the draft for once, so here's hoping they finally got their guy.

I've seen somebody mention this already but it's honestly a bold move for the Celtics to extend Jrue before they take stock of the team and individual players during and after the playoffs. Even though they've had a dominant regular season, I don't think they're going to play like the juggernauts most pundits and rabid Celtics fans think they are. I think they can definitely make the Finals but I just don't believe in that team.

Good for Jrue though. One of my favorite Bucks of all time. I hope he plays well during his next contract, just not against the Bucks 8-)

As much as its a bad contract Bos really didn't have a choice, just like we wouldn't have had a choice. You're forced to do it or lose for nothing. They now have him for a year or two more while he's still good and then he's the trade ticket after that. Trick is do you trade him before his value crashes in order to get something still good back. We did that by getting Dame back before that happened. We'll see how it plays out for Bos
Resident Lillard truther since 2015.

The Heat and 76ers aren't that good this year. Embiid isn't 100% and he struggles against Lopez at the rim

With Dame I believe the Bucks can win against either

The Pacers on the other hand would probably beat the Bucks without Giannis

Cmon lol... we aren't beating any of those teams in a 7 game series without Giannis. Khris would have to average 35/7/7 on 50/40/90 and only dribble off his feet once per game.

Dame has won tougher series than that... beat OKC, Denver, Lob City, prime Harden+Dwight Rockets

It’s still too early to take the victory lap, but yes, first year returns aren’t looking good for for Scoot. And I was a Scoot guy, so I will be ready to take the L.

It does bring up though the utility of the G league ignite. Plausible those guys would have done better in a college setting or the teams that drafted them would have learned more from the college setting.

My favorite was when Bill Simmons saw 4 minutes of Scoot’s first summer league and went off in his pod about declaring he’s a guaranteed star and Charlotte’s decision is gonna live in infamy and haunt them forever as a draft disaster…All of this directly after they talked about not overreacting to summer league lol.

Well it doesn't matter much anymore. They pulled the plug on the team last month.

We should keep in mind that Scoot is 2 years younger than Miller.

Bucks did the same before the playoffs in 2021, no?
