Lets not act like AJ Green is a NBA rotation player yet. Seen some flashes but has to prove himself as an every day player.

at BEST, he's a shorter Sam Houser. that's at best. he is currently not Sam Houser. but i am guilty of letting this community's unhinged love for that guy cloud my vision of the value he presents at times. he was an undrafted player, he could be a rotation player for us. that's something to be happy about.

I think he’s a better athlete than hauser, a better defender (hauser is better than given credit for on that end too), has a quicker release, and is more comfortable shooting off of a greater variety of actions.

Livingston is who I thought he was. Rollins is the big riser. One more game to go.

AJ Johnson is our best prospect and it’s not particularly close imo. (And I’m irrationally high on Dairy)

Just out of interest I thought I'd quickly look at AJ Greens summer league stats.

Year 1: 7ppg on 37%, 33% from 3
Year 2: 4.3 on 38%, 43% from 3 (encouraging)

So while we could say that the eye test should trump stats in SL, we could equally say that SL isn't always a great indicator of NBA prowess. Oh and that it's always easier to bet on failure in prospects.

True for the most part. In MarJon's case we have 3 years of summer league and 100 NBA games.

I wasn't specifically talking about Marjon, more just the assertion that apparently none of our players have NBA skills.

I agree with Marjon, I hope for more but his confidence has been rapidly evaporated.

Agree with Summer League not being a worthwhile evaluation tool for the Bucks. The organizations approach to SL makes it almost useless.

This SL team is poorly coached. They can’t even do the simplest of inbound plays most of the time. Just a bizarre summer, but not exactly shocked with this franchises SL results for the past decade plus.
