Almost every one of the city jerseys looks like it was designed on the bus on the way to school.

It’s astounding how bad they are at this. Like you’d think they’d luck into a good design once.

Holy **** those are terrible. It's like they were designed in Microsoft Paint.

Blue is fine, afaIc but... these are so bland.

Guessing the shorts outline the state further & its better as a whole but top alone looks like complete garbage.

Ugly AF. I see no reason for a billion jerseys every year. Terrible aesthetics, who TF buys every new **** jersey of his team.

Sure there is an element to design that is subjective, but there is also just wildly unpopular design. If 90% of your target audience dislikes something strongly, that is bad design.

I'm old enough to remember when the NBA was actually great at alternate jersey designs. All these city uni's are absolute garbage. Yikes.

Reminds me of the Ski Colorado with 3 lines showing like a 3 mountain profile on one side of the shirt. Then somebody made a Ski Iowa tshirt that was a flat line with a divot lol

They are still arguably in the top half of the league (it's close, subjective, obviously). Take a look at Boston's.

I understand that the league views this is as close to a freeroll because they can get more bites at the sales apple, but yuck. This isn't limited to the NBA, but perhaps churning out a bunch of jerseys for each team each year is doing some long-term damage to brand identities.

I like Washington, Charlotte, Detroit, New Orleans, and Orlando.

Hate LAL, Phoenix, Minnesota, NY, Boston, Brooklyn, Houston, Miami, and Chicago.

Nike is terrible. Adidas had their gaffes, but the boldest decision they made (sleeved jerseys) were basically the team’s primary jersey with sleeves. The New Orleans Mardi Gras one’s were probably the most outlandish for the time and those were phenomenal. Now the alternates for teams resemble the awful jerseys at a 3 on 3 or AAU tournament. Color choices that have nothing to do with the team’s identity at all.

Anyone notice the Pistons have cream jerseys? Weren't those banned by the NBA?

I thought so too. Maybe Detroit has an alternate court with these to help contrast the two? I know when we had our cream jerseys, it supposedly clashed too much with the on-court digital ads. Probably just Silver taking something nice away from us
