Let me go ahead and jump in with you. I meant to do it this morning but got busy. There was another one I wanted to check out that MSNBC mentioned but forgot. Anywho:

Had a +10% return today, so cool with that. I'm gonna ride it out a little longer I think. Of all of the memes being pimped I felt like this one at least has some long term potential if the meme thing flopped.

CLOV, WISH, and BB were the others being talked about, but I stayed away.

I grabbed some WISH while I was at it. I'm assuming they will both drop now and I'll just wait a few months or so to get my money back :D

I know earnings are coming up. They might be pumping it for that... I am in it for the long haul though. I really could see it surpassing $150 a share the next few year. They have too many pattents, rub shoulders with two big boys (Toyota,Exxon), getting projects in too many countries. They are hiring almost 70 people as well, so that looks like something big is in the works.

I contemplate dumping all my savings into FCEL hoping that it takes off and I can retire early. Maybe tomorrow I will step away from the ledge. But I mean, the stock can't be lower years down the road right? So maybe I don't get 10x growth in stock price. Maybe it is 2x for growth.

Do you still have long term optimism in HYSR?

Hysr- I am still holding hysr. It is more of a long hold as well.... Or likely easily flipped when the energy market is pumped again. It is really still in the r&d phase. They are becoming a more viable company. It could blow up big if the tech works. My guess is, they will likely get bought out by some bigger company down the road, basically very inexpensive solar hydrogen. If Biden's plan for solar pops off, it should help the entire sector. I get their e-mails.. They seem to be making progress finding manufacturing to mass produce their product, which is good. They are good with updating their investors. I buy the dips. Anything below .09 I have been buying.

Man, You never know in life. Between market manipulation, interest rates, coronavirus like shut downs, it feels like anything is fair game.

It feels like it should be a close to sure thing considering current situations, but with how willy nilly they can shut down policy and projects like the keystone pipeline, it feels like if the projects don't get implemented and finished under the regime who implemented them, it could lose momentum if the next presidency doesn't value the green energy push as much.

It does however feel like there is a global push for green energy. I just wonder how that may change the dynamic of power in the world. Oil created a lot of wars.

The carbon capture aspect of fuel cell is where they can make the money. If Exxon focuses on that, Fuel cell energy should benefit tremendously as well.

I bought the dip due to gain/drop potential from here (my guess).

Also, joined the FCEL club this morning!

My silver and gold are doing well with the inflation numbers.

Anyone have any plays they like long term outside of the energy and CPG sectors? Looking to add some to my portfolio but not really sure what direction to go. And I'm really trying to avoid any meme stocks as I already own enough GME and AMC.

I like Copper ($FCX and $TECK) both dipped today. I also like Steel. Steel futures are up, and companies are not overproducing.

Kinda meme-ish but still much better value than Chewy, but I like $WOOF. It had an insane runup yesterday, but is trickling down.

Kinda an obvious one, but I still like Amazon at this price.

Yeah, I bought some silver bullion and coins a few years back and have tempted to sell the bullion. I just don't know where the best place to sell is.

Long time lurker, first time poster, love the topic, great show...yada yada...

A stock that I'm heavily invested in is GMGI (Golden Matrix). It surely is having a few rough weeks due to being heavily shorted. They provide annual subscriptions for online gaming/gambling software as well as sports betting operations. They are also coming out with a peer-2-peer online gaming platform. Along with many partnerships and some acquisitions, there is a lot of optimism by the strong core following:
- Pending uplist to Nasdaq (filed paperwork months back and put proper infrastructure in place)
- 12 straight quarters of revenue growth and profitability (one of the few in the gaming/gambling sector)
- Strong cash on hand for future growth
- Strong assets and lower liabilities

Most of which can be found here... https://goldenmatrix.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/FY2021-Corperate-Highlights.pdf

Again, all great news, yet we've been taken a bit to the woodshed by the shorters the last few weeks. In no way do I claim to be an expert investor, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn last night! Let's take game 6!

I have a decent amount of GHVI which will be Matterport once the merger is done. Matterport has fairly high expectations on future growth. Their virtual tour growth grew 87% from February to February and they seem to be a leader in that field.

Does anyone have a stock picking service/subscription they like? I prefer to buy and hold. Don't mind the swings so growth is ok for me. I was thinking about Motley Fool's Rule Breakers.

Any thoughts on Bitcoin long term? It seems to really be under fire for environment, etc. I have like 1K invested so small time stuff but I've lost 30% in like last month. I need it at like $48,000 to break even. Part of me wants to keep buying as this may be a dip. But another piece of me is this thing may have busted and its gonna keep tanking. It almost feels too much like gambling if I keep investing in it vs a good feel of investing in a company. I don't know.

For me personally, anything highly speculative (Bitcoin, meme stocks, stocks like FCEL), I will only make 10% of my total portfolio combined. It allows me to sleep well at night. For you it may be 20%, but I recommend sticking to a certain percentage for these areas and then buying the slower moving stocks with the rest of your portfolio and diversify among tech, s&p, industrials, REITs, etc. This may not be exciting (as is gambling), but is a proven path for financial investing success.

Long time crypto supporter. These last few weeks/months has been tough. I bought what I thought was the dip, it continued to drop, then I bought that dip, it continued to drop. I'm down heavily right now and don't want to put anymore in so I'm holding steady. If there is any comfort it's that these past drops of 50% or more, we've seen it come back from in due time. I honestly won't check my wallet until late summer/early fall.

I'm with you. Right now my portfolio is 96% through my 401K, 3% Robinhood, and 1% Bitcoin. I want to keep the latter 2 under 10% since it is more my undertaking and more like a fun hobby. At same time I don't want to be dumb and invest in **** things and/or items that are not smart.
