Haven't seen many in 2 years due to covid and we rented a ridiculous place that's super cheap because it's out of season there. Thankfully the wild fires have been contained. I've been checked out of work since MOnday.

Would be curious on a trip report. Thinking about going there around the same time next year.

This is a great thread of course, but reminds me that when I was a DJ for college radio, I took this huge box of rejected CDs to listen to. Most of them were totally ordinary bad, just **** aimless music, unremarkable and disposable. But there was one I kept.

Holy **** ****. The music is the music equivalent of the album cover: It is mesmerizing.

He’s just way too big and flat out a way better boxer. Wilder can’t throw his bombs with fury leaning on him all night and tagging him.

Finished my bicycle saddle bag LOL

It was a actually a PITA construction for such a small project, but it had to be done, I keep buying the typical polyester saddlebags from my local bike shop and the straps fray after a couple of years, I just can't trust them to hold my wallet.

I also made another one of those satchels but with different leather. I'm probably keeping this one, it came out too good :D

Thanks man :D

But how much would you charge someone for a bag that has $250 USD in materials and 4 days of labour? Remember it's still a no-name bag that someone made in his home workshop, it doesn't say Luis Vuitton or anything like that. And even if there are people out there willing to pay such an amount for something like that, where do you find those people? I mean don't get me wrong, I can make bags and I don't mind making them, but the commercial side of it seems basically impossible.

hmmmm I guess you get quicker, make multiple components at a time? I dunno, I know a guy who sells furniture and **** made out of wine barrel timber. Your stuff is beatiful, I'd buy one for sure if I was a rich dude! :D

Yeah I'll pay for stuff like that, I don't mind, as long as I know it's made properly. I paid a dude $1,200 (AUD) to make me a pair of handmade boots, because he makes them with chromexcel exterior, layers of veg tan mid soles, kangaroo reinforcements and goodyear welts, which means they are repairable and will last a lifetime. Doesn't get better in terms of boot materials and construction. And they're cut exactly to my size which means they'll be more comfortable than anything I could buy ready made, plus I get to customise every single colour and detail. Some things like boots, bags and belts, it's worth buying it once and buying it properly, instead of the false economy of buying multiples every year. But most people dont see it like that.

Still waiting for those boots by the way, it's been 4 months LOL

Was a great fight but wilder has nothing left, corner needs to call it before he has some irreparable damage.

Couldn't find a stream and missed a damn war. Fury almost has to be put out early or he'll rob your legs by leaning on you the entire fight.

That satchel/messenger bag is beautiful. If you ever chose to sell one like that, I would totally be interested....especially if it would take a padded insert to make it into a camera bag.

Attractive and durable bags have a lot of value and the fact that it'd be handmade adds even more. I don't know how much you'd have to make to make it worth it on your end but you could sell it for a lot more than $250. My current bag cost significantly more and it's a similar concept.

All time great fight, counts were slow for both men but fair, on the 2nd knockdown wilder left his corner which stalled the count. Really just a great trilogy.

Been on antibiotics for 4 days and can take a deep breath and can finally sleep on the side the pneumonia is, so it's already a lot better than it was.
