Are we trading Giannis for him?

Mavs say no, in part because Davis wants to be the floor spacing big.
Considering he hasn't shot over 30% from three since the 2020 postseason I think the Bucks could sell the Mavs on that being a dubious idea, but fair enough they could certainly roll with it anyway.
If the Bucks are sending a big back that still maintains Dallas' newfound surplus, so could we get a 2nd back too in PJ Washington? They're either sending him to the bench or he's an odd fit for a 3. I'd send Bobby to another team, the Mavs get something from them they need, plus a top 10 protected '31 1st from us.
Their big rotation would be AD, Lively, & Brook. Looks quite good. But I'd happily take your deal too, & even add a little sweetener. Not the '31 1st, but Tyler Smith/Andre Jackson Jr/2nd.

Is there really a belief that Eason has star level upside? Or are we doing the thing where he's the shiny new analytics/per-minute metric guy that fools people into thinking there's some deeper unlocked potential when in reality he's just a really elite defensive role-player who popped immediately?

He fits with Giannis at the five perfectly. And future growth is a bonus.
