The “race” for the 10th seed in the East is getting crazy. Bulls, 6ers and Nets are all falling over themselves trying to lose. I’m guessing Philly falls over the line given they’re at least on face value trying to win games still. But pretty ugly for the league. Currently on track for a 33 win 10 seed.

If there's anything in the world that would be a red flag on a guy it would be asking for a trade from a contender he had a role on next to the best player in the world. That was a dumber career move than Thon Maker asking out.

The trade had nothing to do with this season. They weren't winning anything this year anyway.

Do we know what is going on with Khris Middleton? It's seems like it's been complete radio silence from him since the trade. Is he even with the Wizards right now? Maybe they told him just to chill until after the All Star break?

He was on the bench for one game, in street clothes. He's not been with the team since. Most likely they told him to take some time and come back after the break. His likely debut will be next Friday against the.....Bucks.

Yeah, dude has spent a decade here in Milwaukee building a life and got shipped. Its a business and if the wizards needed him, sure make him play the next week. Otherwise, do the reasonable thing and let him settle things at home and get some extended rest to recoup his value at year-end for an off-season trade.

The way the Luka deal went down is almost a deliberate slap in the face for Cuban.

Maybe the fear of it leaking out was related to Cuban doing something.

AD getting hurt immediately is just a topper on this farce too.

ESPN's Tim McMahon is pulling back the curtain on the severely diminished influence that Cuban now has in the Mavericks organization, per The Hoop Collective podcast.

“Luka’s happiness was Mark Cuban’s top priority when Cuban was running that franchise,” said McMahon. “From the time they drafted Luka until the time Cuban sold the franchise, Luka’s happiness was Cuban’s top priority. Cuban had zero power, the heads up it was literally a matter of minutes this trade was happening. There’s a 0% chance that it would’ve ever happened under Cuban’s watch but I call him the World’s Richest Mascot for a reason because he doesn’t have any juice in the organization anymore, he gave that up hoping to cling on to it.”

Fultz isn’t good. Let’s not kid ourselves here. I think it’ll be enough trying to integrate KPJ and Kooz.

Both Minny and OKC are on a B2B, Minny is playing much better than last night

Both teams are young enough to handle back to backs

Perhaps his primary shot shouldn’t be stepback off the dribble threes?

This is also a symptom of having a nonshooting big who can only dunk paired with him. It’s clear he would operate best with five out and the lane open.

We've been saying that we need a guy who can handle the ball and run the offense, especially with the second unit. I think he was a nice, low-risk add.

We got KPJ to fill that role, for better or worse.

Golden State just beat a really good Houston team and is 3-1 with a +9.7 net-rating since Jimmy suited up. Say whatever you want about the person, but Jimmy is still that dude on the court. Warriors now got a puncher's chance at making a serious run after looking like they were dead in the water just two weeks ago.

The Miami falling out is actually looking kind of embarrassing for Riley unless Jimmy wouldn't have signed the same contract there that he did with the Ws. All that because he didn't want to give him one more year?
