Quentin Post, the 52nd pick of the draft, who has a 9'4" standing reach, started at center for the Warriors in their win yesterday, scoring 18 points on 7-10 shooting including 4- 3s.

Meanwhile Tyler Smith shot 2-8 in 28 minutes in yesterday's Herd loss. Stay hot Horst!

It’s ok, I’ve wanted to trade Lillard for Damon Jones.

We might be able to beat tanking teams without Giannis, but the problem is we can't beat garbage teams without him. Especially not with Khris gone. He raised our floor against garbage teams because he still could feast on them.

The Wizards are a tanking team. They have no reason to play Middleton. The Wizards got out of this what they wanted in the trade. The Bucks got half of what they wanted- below second apron.

If the Bucks make an early exit, I have joined the tear it up crowd.

And if Giannis wants out, I wouldn't blame him.

We’re a team that’s reliant upon our top 2 for virtually all of our creation. Giannis is damn consistent, but Dame determines the outcome.

When he’s aggressive getting into the paint, we’re a very good team, when he’s settling outside and not fully engaged, we’re a really mediocre team.

Most of our issues are tied to effort level, and I’m not super concerned about effort in the playoffs, but I do have a creeping worry that we’ll over burden the top 2 and their legs will be completely shot trying to get through 4 rounds.

In years prior we had more creators, but we also saw some of the prominent ones completely lose that ability once the playoffs rolled around - Bledsoe, Jrue.

2019 - Giannis, Khris, Bledsoe, Brogdon, Hill, Donte
2020 - Giannis, Khris, Bledsoe, Hill, Donte
2021- Giannis, Khris, Jrue, Donte
2022 - Giannis, Khris, Jrue
2023 - Giannis, Khris, Jrue
2024 - Giannis, Dame, Khris, Beverly
2025 - Giannis, Dame

Bobby could also probably be added to the list above, but his creation is for himself, and not others, and that’s the stuff that opens up an offense. His would also be an example of mostly disappearing in the playoffs.

I’m hopeful KPJ and Kuzma can help us some with this, because we need it.

When you factor in coming back shortly after the AS game, that would amount to "weeks" total, so not necessarily contradictory. Who knows.

Dame’s team now. I actually think he may thrive being the man out there.

True. He's already missed a week and they don't play until the 20th after the ASG

Hopefully you're good. If Giannis is still out mid March we're ****.

Dame will thrive.

But the Bucks won't beat any teams that aren't bottom 10 in the league without Giannis.

Dame is one of those rare players who can go out and give you 30+ every night. While simultaneously proving why he is overrated.

And this is why with all his faults Dame is an important piece. With Giannis out you still have a good chance to win with Dame. Not sure you could say that with the current Jrue and Middleton in his place.

If Giannis was out until mid March, all it would take is for one of the Bulls or Sixers to go on a decent run and the Bucks might not even be in the play-in.

I see now it says Giannis out until after the all star break.

I think we're boned without Giannis and will be lucky to win a third of the games unless someone who can generate offense emerges. Dame never did it all on his own in Portland, particularly when they were an average or better team. If the outlet on a trap is Prince, the advantage from beating the double dies right there and you've done nothing but waste clock.

Looking at this list, apart of the creation, it is worth noting how many good perimeter defenders we had (plus Wesley Mathews and PJ Tucker at different years)

Middleton up to a point was a very good defender and Brook was a lot better than he is currently. Now we are forced to play AJJ since the team is full of bad defenders

So Horst managed to get a team full of players that lack creativity and cannot play defense either. You cannot have a great team like that

lol of course. This schedule has been whacky for us this year. Then you throw in the extra cup game followed by the majority of the team getting the plague then we have to spend 4 days in a snowstorm in New Orleans. Also feels like we rarely have teams missing guys. Just bonkers amount of bad luck so far.
