We should add Ricky Council right now.

KPJ will be significantly better, but yes, there's a world where Anthony's game levels up now that he's playing on a team that doesn't use every second of their practice time working on the defense.

so you are banking on a big kpj year?

More hoping than banking? I think he might be our 2nd best player, while also acknowledging we might have to salary dump him again. Hopefully the life changes he's made are permanent, and he fulfills his potential.

Why is it always the Bucks that have the worst production for these media days and pressers? The audio is all jacked up and they spent the first half setting everything up. You should be testing stuff well before the event actually starts...

In many respects they are a top notch organization. But in some areas they half ass it. Tech. Sales/Marketing. Those have always been terrible.

Doc and Horst just really don't inspire confidence in terms of an interview.

Ok don’t kill me, but is anyone getting weird vibes from Giannis. Seen a recent interview with him talking about potentially quitting the nba for Greece, and now he has “covid” and is going to be a way from the team for awhile

It’s definitely something to think about, especially going back to that 2021 article right after his Supermax where he said he almost retired after 2020

I promise we don't have to do this.

And Jrue said he was "contemplating retirement" until Boston shoved 135 million dollars in his face. Love Giannis but I don't believe a word any of these guys say about retiring early.

Amir Coffey doing a Media Day interview is interesting. Can’t remember a supposed non-guaranteed/training camp invite getting that attention.

Beginning of the season, looking at this roster and the work it will take to win 50 games yeah I'd be thinking about retirement too. But at the end of the day $ talks.

He's not retiring. He has mentioned toward the back nine of his career (late 30's) potentially finishing out his playing days in Greece right before retirement. He's not going anywhere anytime soon. He has floated the idea to Mariah whether they want to live in Milwaukee or Athens after he does retire, as he wants his kids to go to school there (most likely a private school). But I could just as well see him simply playing his last game as a Buck and then quietly chilling in the suburbs of Milwaukee.
