I've been hearing Woelful spreading various rumors on radio shows for at least a decade now and if a single one actually has come to fruition, i don't recall it. Yet, every host on these shows call him an NBA Insider.

Gery said it was just a wild rumor he heard. I don't think he believed it at all

A broken magic 8 ball at that.

I don't get Woelfel. In this interview he said that Brandon Jennings is pretty well entrenched at PG, yet, only a week ago he was stating that he wouldn't be surprised if BJ was on the way out before the draft.

Gasol and Bogut + nothing else. It's great having absolutely no assets on the roster.

Figure out a way to keep the 10th pick and take Fredette, lol.

Fredette/Salmons/Delfino/Gasol/Bogut
Shoot, Move, and Communicate...

I don't think a Jennings and Ersan for Gasol package is all that far fetched value wise. It just wouldn't work under the CBA unless we sent more salary out there. You put Maggette into this thing for salary balance for LA and it gets worse since he has negative value. Gasol though is owed 18, 19, and 20 million the next three years. That is a ton of coin for a league moving towards a hard cap.

Gasol has a lot of miles on those tires. I love him and would do the deal. But to play devils advocate to our doom and gloom here, you can envision scenarios where Jennings gets out to LA and blows up playing with Kobe and Bynum.

I was under the assumption that we'd have to give up #10.

Oh, I didn't gather that.

I think LRMAM would be a good trading chip with LA. A good lock-down guy for a contending team.

Bogut + Gasol would be an incredible front court. Shame about the rest of the team but it'd be fun to watch.

We could always overpay for Patty Mills to please the Aussies.

I can more envision Kobe eventually snapping and ringing Jennings neck after a 3-16 shooting night by Brandon, and where in crunch time he threw up an ugly 10 foot floater that only gets backboard, while Kobe is standing wide open on the wing.

Sure doesn't take much for someone to be deemed an "insider" now a days in the world of radio. A local station has a weekly segment with a teams beat writer and all of a sudden the guy becomes some Bucks "insider" who gets the scoop on everything before everyone else?

What irritates me most is when he goes on WSSP and babbles on for ten minutes about things we all know and offers up his pointless opinions and the station is treating him like a basketball guru and a trusted source. What makes it even worse is when he backs one of his own points up with "I talked with a high level executive within another teams front office...."

Probably a ball boy in an opposing teams locker room.
We're going to turn this team around 360 degrees.

Gasol? I would give them whatever they want for Gasol. Even Bogut.

Off course if we give them Bogut then we will not give them much more. Bogut, #10 and filler for Gasol would be fair IMO. Gasol is better player and more healthy but with worse contract. So we add Maggette to match contracts and #10 for their effort to take Maggette.

But even if we keep Bogut I think we still have enough assets to make it happen. Jennings + #10 + whatever PFs they want.

If we had Gasol and a healthy Bogut that would be awesome. I hope we wouldn't have to give up our pick to make it happen though. I would be on board with drafting Jimmer then. Do it Hammond!

Trading Bogut for Gasol would be pointless. Gasol is the better player but that wouldn't translate to any more W's then what this team w/ Bogut would get.

Although the talent adds up, I think the Bucks would need to keep the 10th pick to add a PG. Send LRMAM, Jennings, and Ersan. Then we can pick a PG at 10. I'm not content marching Dooling starting at PG to get Gasol at PF.
