The Knicks have posted blowout wins in all four home games under interim coach Mike Woodson heading into Monday night’s matchup against Jennings and a Bucks team that enters on a five-game road win streak.

“That is a real big game for us. Going up against them, fighting for that eighth spot,” Carmelo Anthony said. “The way we have been playing … we want to continue to keep playing. We need that game. We are going to be doing everything in our power to get that game.”

The Bucks have won 12 of the last 14 meetings and eight of nine since selecting Jennings with the 10th overall pick in 2009 after New York bypassed him at No. 8.

Jennings’ 20.7 scoring average against New York is his second best versus any Eastern Conference club, while his 22.2 average at Madison Square Garden is his best in any arena where he’s played at least three games. He’s averaging 36.5 points in his last two visits to MSG and 30.5 in two victories over New York this season.

GO BUCKS GO!!!

New York just won both games in a home and home vs Indiana, a team that just smoked us.

I predict a bucks loss.

Several news outlets are reporting that Monta Ellis suffered a finger injury on Saturday and didn't return to the game.

He had 11 points and six assists in 30 minutes, and while the injury doesn't appear to be a big deal, we're hoping to get an update on his status on Monday. Sometimes that can be tricky, as news coming out of Milwaukee can be lacking. For now, consider him a solid play for the upcoming week.

Gooden > 30mins = Loss.

Gooden < 30mins = Win.

Is the JS one of the news outlets reporting the finger injury?

This is the height of the Bucks franchise. Such a huge game.

Ellis did indeed suffer a finger injury late in the game vs the Pacers. It was when Dunleavy hammered Hansborough on the face. I immediately thought broken finger for sure but haven't heard anything since so who knows.

Playoffs probably on the line here and the Bucks historically plays the Knicks well but I still think it will be a hard fought loss.

Knicks 111
Bucks 106

Ellis injury may actually help. Jennings plays well against NY but he needs the ball in his hands to be effective. Amare was hinting last game that his back is hurting, and hopefully Tyson Chandler is too busy laughing at Gooden to defend the post :D

Of course if we do lose I would hope Hammond and Skiles would be fired, so win-win, right?

I expect huge games here from the Red Rooster Jennings & the Ersanator.

I hope Monta is able to play. He takes so much pressure off Jennings.

This is literally the fight for the 8th spot right here.

Such a huge game. If we win we are still not sure bet to make playoff but if we lose we are done all but officially.

I think we win. Moute and Ersan will beat up Carmelo and Amare.

It is interesting that no word on Monta Ellis and his hand. Seems stunning that we have no updates here.

A loss tonight pretty much seals our fate. Would leave us needing probably 12-5 or better to end the year to make the playoffs. A win seals nothing. I won't say, "Go Knicks", but I feel there are more tangible long-term benefits with a loss tonight. I definitely won't be upset at all if we lose.

I know people like certainty on these things but I don't see a loss de-railing our playoff bid that quickly.

The Knicks are still a game under .500 and more than capable of going on a five game losing streak next month, at which point they'd be five under .500 versus the Bucks perhaps finishing the season at 2-3 games under .500

I'm more confident the Celtics will maintain a record over 4-7 games over .500 that will mean the 7th seed is an impossibility.

Sadly this is more because our sports media blows, and not because the Bucks are keeping things hush hush.

Loss tonight doesn't end it, as 3.5 back with 17 to go is not insurmountable. That 8th seed is just an awful spot for us to be, though. Humiliation in the form of an all road game series and another squandered year.

It would only be 2.5 back with a loss, but if you think the Knicks finish at worst 8-8 in their remaining 16 games, that leaves us needing 11-6 or better to tie (I think we have tiebreaker on Knicks regardless). And 11-6 is best case.
