Ugly game. Just sloppy all around. Bruesewitz is a bad basketball player.

These teams are mirror images of each other. Bennett would probably be a pretty clean transition after Bo retires.

If we can't beat Virginia at home its going to be a long long season.

Not only should Dekker start, but he should never leave the court.

Besides Dekker, it's a typical Bo Ryan team. Lots of jumpers and threes. When those fall at a good clip, UW will be tough to beat. When those brick, scoring will be a struggle.

Virginia has been trying to give this one away.

Except the team lacks a really good guard to get into the paint. I like Berggren a lot, but he's not an elite post player.

This team lacks a really good PG to get into the paint and/or a very good post player. They could probably get by with Berggren if they had a Hughes or a Taylor at PG.

Bo is hurting the team. Not utilizing Berg in the post, being stubborn about admitting Dekker is his best offensive weapon, having poor lineup choices out there in crucial moments and just having his head up his butt in general. How do you not have quick 2 plays drawn up for the end there? It was like Brust to shoot a three or die, someone cut to the damn basket.

I'd be happy if Tony Bennett is our head coach sooner rather than later.

One of the worst losses that I can remember in the Bo Ryan era.

The Gasser injury has killed them. Marshall and Jackson should both be bench guards. And I have no idea what Bo is doing in terms of utilizing their two best offensive players, Dekker and Berggren.

He's not. Brusewitz is awful, and plays more than Dekker. I don't get it..

I mean, a good coach would be actively yelling at Dekker to be more assertive on the offensive end, especially on a team in desperate need of a scorer. Instead I feel like Bo is happy to let Dekker blend into the background.

I can see why in certain situations and games where Brusewitz would get more minutes than Dekker, but in games like tonight where the team is really struggling to score points, it makes no sense at all.

Grendon is also right about the team really lacking a good point guard to get into the paint or simply to create. Bo for a longtime has had a PG who could be given the ball on the numerous occasions where the shot clock is running down, and at least create some sort of decent shot. They really have nobody like that this year at the guard spot.

The way Cameron exploded after this was unbelievable. I've never experienced anything like it.

Rasheed Sulaimon is the real deal and keyed Duke's comeback last night. All 17 points in the 2nd half. Very hard minded kid. Very good defender. Big moments clearly don't phase him. I was impressed after the Kentucky game, but the way he attacked tOSU's defensive pressure was really eye opening.

Also, Ryan Kelly did a damn good job on Deshaun Thomas. I would think he'll have a long career in Europe if he wants it.

And why is that? Harris was getting all of his points last night on Bruesewitz; Mike was also the one fouling on various crucial possessions down the stretch, leading to free throws to help Virginia pull away. He has regressed as a player since his freshman year, and there is no situation where he should get more minutes than Dekker, imo.

Bruiser should never play more minutes than Dekker. His D is really overrated. Honestly, he's regressed as a player since his sophomore year. Dekker should be starting, they badly need his versatility on O. Based on what I've seen I'd probably go Jackson/Brust/Dekker/Evans/Berggren. Jackson seems better than Marshall right now.
