If you want to take first games, Jeremy Lamb had 33 points 10 rebounds 4 assists in his. 39% and 27%. There's no way to slice it where they're statistically close. Unless you only look at the shots Jeremy Lamb missed. Then he looks awful.

I wasn't comparing the two just saying that Jeremy's numbers are far from nice

Fab Melo scores 27 on 9-10 shooting for Maine. Coach before game...Okay pretend the ball is your head and the basket a door frame.

Melo has put up some pretty damn good games in the D-League. I really think it's a ton easier for big men to do well in the D-League then guards.

Lamb might have just sprained his ankle. He's on the ground in quite a bit of pain from the looks of it.

Must be weird for these guys to play in front of crowds you would see at middle school games. If I wasnt sent down there from an NBA team, Id just go to Europe if offered.

The big thing with the D-League though is you can get called up. You can't just leave your team in Europe and hop to the NBA without a complicated buyout or something.

Im trying to watch the first game he was in and this is some hard to watch basketball.

Good to see that Famous guy is still alive though. He seemed decent on our Summer League team, was surprised when we didn't invite him to camp or anything.

Hope Lamb's injury wasn't too bad

I watched a bit, I caught some of his bricks and a nice assist for a buzzer beater. Not very encouraging, and the camera angle gave me a headache so I had to stop. There's a reason this guy was drafted so late, but his summer league was really nice so there's plenty of hope still.

They've sent him back down.

They should just keep him down there the rest of the year IMO. So far he hasn't shown he can even excel at that level. If you are an NBA quality player, you should be able to dominate down there.

I agree, they should send Tobias down there too. He needs to get more game experience. It can't be good for him to only get garbage minutes.

Lamb so far reminds me an awful lot of Jodie Meeks. Not necessarily their games, but their path so far. As I recall he came out for us and couldn't hit anything, and people applauded that we got that 76er pick (that I think we turned into Gallon).

A couple of years later, we speculate on how nice it would be to have someone like that.

Give him some time, Ersan isn't the only one with confidence issues this year. I think Lamb will bounce back too.
