Ford: Jennings #2 most likely to be moved

Link 2. Brandon Jennings, PG, Bucks
The Bucks say adamantly they aren't shopping Jennings, but they may have to listen seriously to offers for their young point guard the next few days.
While Jennings is their most promising young player -- the one guy who could be a potential star player to build around -- GM John Hammond is in a bit of a quandary. Not only is Jennings looking for a huge payday this summer (one the Bucks may not be able to afford), he's also looking for a contract from a team other than the Bucks.
Jennings has, according to one source, "irreconcilable differences" with Milwaukee. He's frustrated, according to sources, that the two sides weren't able to work out a long-term extension this summer. In addition, he feels as though he doesn't get the attention he deserves and wants a bigger market to take his talents to.
Jennings isn't bluffing. He recently changed agents in an attempt to get some traction on his relocation. Jennings' marching orders for his new representation? Get him out of Milwaukee, either by the trade deadline or via a toxic offer sheet from another team this summer.
The Bucks have Jennings' restricted free-agency rights and can match any offer, but if the Mavericks, Hawks, Magic or another team makes a huge bid, the small-market Bucks may not be able to afford or want to match.
So do they make a preemptive move now and get something in return or do they gamble that Jennings doesn't get a big offer this summer? With so many teams under the cap this summer, and so few talented point guards available, the team could be in serious danger of losing him for nothing.

Only noteworthy item in here I suppose is,
Jennings has, according to one source, "irreconcilable differences" with Milwaukee.
Not surprising, but it's out there.
Others on the list
1 - Josh Smith'
3 - Bargnani
4 - Jefferson or Millsap
5 - Gortat
6 - Redick
7 - Turner
8 - Granger
9 - Boozer
10 - Garnett

Well that's just not true at all.

Let this clown take his 39% shooting percentage to a huge market that won't be nearly as patient with him.

We'll be lucky to even break even with Mavs, Magic, or Hawks.

There's picks galore from Atlanta and Orlando to be had, if Hammond has a brain.

No, you can't build around him. Not by any stretch of the imagination. So let him take his talents somewhere else. Sooner rather than later.

It's crazy how much I dislike this kid as of right now considering just how much I liked him and how much hope i had for his career as a Buck not all that long ago. The good news is that at this point trading him is an absolute must and him trying to force the Bucks hand will hopefully result in the Bucks actually doing what has become clearly apparent to us all to be necessary because it seems like its safe to say that without him essentially trying to force his way out of Milwaukee we probably wouldn't trade him (even considering that if we don't we would be setting ourselves up for a nightmare offseason). This trade needs to happen and fast, I'm gonna be keeping my fingers crossed and hoping like hell he doesn't injure himself tonight...

I doubt Orlando gives any of their picks and Atlanta probably wouldn't either as if Hammond would even target those. Don't see the point of either of those teams acquiring Jennings anyways.

Ersan and Jennings for Rondo and call it a day.

Just a massively dumb statement.

That would mean we're giving up on the 8th seed tho...
Sad thing is we're probably still the 8th seed regardless if we blow this team or not. We're not dropping below 9th for sure.

Well if it is true that he wants out then we have to trade him.

Hammond is inked for several more years. We have a young front court ready to take over. I'd be shocked if we didn't do this deal if it were on the table. That said I'd be pretty surprised if Boston did it. Perhaps they may think this is their last stand with Garnett and Pierce, and Ersan and Jennings give them enough upside while getting them younger for the future.
I don't think this hurts our playoff hopes all that much for this year.

This is a good point, with his apparently extremely immature and fragile psyche if he goes to a big market I could totally see him turning into a complete emotional wreck if he doesn't preform up to the fans expectations (or maybe even a complete loon a la Starbury). Then again, I could also see the added pressure to preform turning his will to win and his work ethic up a few notches and him putting it all together finally and becoming a top 8 or so point guard. That would be depressing as hell for bucks fans if the latter is what occurs...

I would agree, if the Bucks traded Jennings (and someone else) for Rondo, I don't think that would put a major dent in the all-important chase for the #8 seed. And how sad is that?
