I hate the purple and truly hope it doesn't come back. Also glad to see the red (Xmas combo) going away. Green is obviously the base.

My vote has always been with a green/blue combo.

Yellow and green, IMO. Trick people into buying Bucks gear because they think it is Packer stuff.

Compare the current start of Bucks.com videos to what it used to be:

http://www.nba.com/bucks/video/2014/04/ ... ov-3240503

Again, hard time thinking the inclusion of purple on the current intro is a mistake.

MAYBE it could be argued it's just a lens flare effect, but it damn sure is a purple lens flare effect. I'm sure nothing is set in stone, but someone, somewhere made sure purple was an obvious color in the Bucks.com video intro.

I'd go true gold over yellow.

Green, Black and "true' gold is my preference. The Dallas Stars have used that color scheme and I like the look and would buy a bunch of merchandise.

not bad. I'd go with a darker shade of green
Image
and change the purple to silver

I really doubt that we are going purple after the owners have said publically that its a vikings color

my vote has been for a darker green/gold/white/maybe some black for alts. for awhile. it looks super slick on so many different unis.

but yea, logo needs to be changed too. i actually don't think the actually buck is horrible, but it's gotten stale and i hate the stupid triangle frame.

I like that too, but it's very Celtics.

Green on green is a cool choice as is green/gold but I think the Bucks don't want to look like the Packers.

Right, but let's not get carried away. The Pack has been called the Green & Gold and there would be a close association there. I'm not against it, but I imagine the Bucks want a unique identity. Also it's very Notre Dame.

The Bucks don't have to brand themselves as "green and gold" and the colors wouldn't look remotely the same. Also, Notre Dame's colors are blue and gold

Packers To Alter Team's Gold Color
September 12, 1993

GREEN BAY, Wis. — The Green Bay Packers plan to change their uniforms next season, retaining the current dark green, but switching pants and helmets from mustard yellow to metallic gold.

The Packers hope the changes will be approved by NFL Properties by the beginning of next month so they can wear the new uniforms next season. Among other changes are the removal of stripes now on the helmet, jersey and pants.

Packers President Bob Harlan told The Milwaukee Journal the gold was not the same as that worn by any other team and it was selected by General Manager Ron Wolf and coach Mike Holmgren.

Harlan said the helmet color would be switched from yellow to gold and have a large green "G" on each side and the jersey would have a smaller green "G" on each sleeve. The white numbers on the green home jerseys and the green numbers on the white road jerseys also will have a gold outline. The pants will be plain gold.

"Years and years ago, we wore a gold helmet and gold pants," Harlan said. "And I think that's what Ron wanted, a simpler uniform. And they didn't want to look like New Orleans and the 49ers. They looked at different golds and picked out what they like."

I wish they'd gone through with it, always hated the mustard

Some of the designs and color schemes in this thread are so fresh and original that I have high hopes that our rebranding will be the same. Getting this wrong wouldn't kill us, but hitting a home run on this redesign would attract so much attention, merchandising revenue, and even fans that it would be a shame to blow it (as we have with every redesign of the last 25 years). I love how the Hornets pulled off something that is both fresh and modern, while also signaling a connection to their past. That is what we need to do here.

The problem is that the Hornets uniforms back in the old Charlotte days were cool back then, while the Bucks uniforms have never been cool, ever.
