Jennings and the Pistons laid the smack down on, well, I'm not exactly sure.

AD had 25 in 26 minutes for NO. Looks like Schroeder came up big for ATL. Drummond is gonna make a lot of teams look pretty stupid this year.

KCP - 1-12, 0-6 from 3 in 25 minutes.
Jeremy Lamb - 2-12, 0-8 from 3 and 5 turnovers in 40 minutes.
Those are 2 guys I wanted in the last 2 drafts and they haven't really looked impressive. Especially Lamb and this is his second season.

Gustavo Ayon will miss four to eight weeks after an MRI showed inflammation and a rotator cuff strain.
Ayon suffered the injury in the Atlanta Hawks' preseason loss to the Miami Heat on Monday.
Ayon had a strong summer, winning MVP of the FIBA Americas Championship.

Tyshawn Taylor got some run for Brooklyn and I'm glad they kept him on the roster. 7 turnovers is atrocious, but otherwise his night was good.

Didn't look at the box score, but I honestly don't recall seeing him, but he did play 10 minutes. I think I was getting num by all the missed 3's.

Yeah, the Suns rocked the same squad a couple nights ago and both Bledsoe and Dragic did whatever they wanted. It's not much of a measure for the Pistons, although I'm happy for Brandon to get off to a good start.

The Pistons hate this year is going to be ridiculous. I just hope Jennings and the team does well. It will be another team ahead of us.

Nene complaining about injuries and playing too many minutes in Preseason Game 1
Can't see him playing a full season. Doesn't sound like he's in agreement with management and/or coaching.
Nene said that his "knee is still sore [and his] foot still hurts a little bit," and he hopes to play limited minutes the rest of the preseason.
He dropped 19 points in 22 minutes on Tuesday and seemed to think that even that was too much playing time. "I don't want to get sore, get hurt," he said. "I still have a couple of issues. Just because I feel better, they think I feel great but they're wrong. We need to reduce a couple minutes." This is a disappointing (if predictable) update which dims the glowing offseason reports about his health, and Nene remains a high-risk pick due to injuries.
