I'm drawn to different so I like the green. I also think the wheels work better with the green than they do with the gray. Either way, its a sharp car.

Can't decide, gray or green (both grays and greens are the same color, just different light). I like both, but not sure I have the guts to pick the green. Any opinions on one vs the other? I've had really dark gray cars for forever and don't want black... I need something different this time.

Hahaha! Honestly, I'm not a big fan of their interior. They're fun to drive and I like the exterior, but it's not for me.

If you are stuck on that VW, I'd go with the green.

C'mon Mike I know you're a Porsche snob but the correct answer is to get a Model Y performance :) You can save $30k, actually put some stuff in the trunk (and frunk), and it's still faster than the Macan Turbo!

(also I vote for gray, Ryan...I used to be really into the idea of an RS3 and liked the color on that too)

I actually agree with you, except for the Porsche snob part. I have no brand loyalty and change my mind about what I want next daily. :D

What did BMW do to the grill of the M3/M4? WHY, BMW???!!! WHY?!!!??!?!

So ugly. So, so ugly.

On the other hand, the Audi E-Tron GT is looking lovely and the Tesla S refresh is intriguing.

...I love it. Then again, I live in a state where you don't need a front plate. If you need a front plate I think it kind of ruins the look.

I am looking at the new M4 and I love it! New grill is interesting for sure. Just need the Competition Series to be AWD which should be available I believe this summer.

I drove only BMWs from 2003-2019 and almost got a used 2016 M3 a few years ago -- always loved the look of the 2015-2020 M3/M4, awesome seats too. Ended up getting the Tesla Model 3 Performance because it's faster/cheaper/better day-to-day practicality, but will always have a soft spot for the M cars and excited to see what BMW does with the i4.

But I agree wth Supreme, the new grille is just...a lot. It will probably grow on me a bit (kind of like when Audi went to the really big grilles). Ironically I think I might actually like it more with a wider euro-spec license plate than plateless because it breaks up the hugeness of the kidney grille, but it also looks weirder with narrower US-style plates. Going without a front plate seems lke the best option aesthetically in the US.

I agree. That grill is worse than Will Ferrell's teeth. And adding a license plate makes it look that much worse.

That grille is awesome. Not with the plate though. Without the plate......A+ from me.

Not a fan of the grill, with or without plate
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

See I thought it might be an age thing, but it's not because you and I are older than most here.

I like to think I'm still young (30 is young, right? Right?!) and I hate that grill. Yuck.

That new BMW grill is straight garbage. It gets universally mocked online as it should.

I have an M2 today and that M4 Competition is a bad a$$ machine. Love it and I am not married to the original grill and don't mind that change at all. What I want is the AWD variant with 500HP.

Now, getting my wife to approve this purchase? Much easier said than done. She wants me to sell my race car to get an M4. NO!

I have an X4M today and that M3/M4 grill is ugly. That wouldn't even stop me from getting one (maybe an M3), but it's so ugly.
