khris Middleton available?

HeY folks...greetings from harlem ny (hover raised in Kenosha WI )

I see here that k. Middleton is a restricted free agent. Dude is an underrated player who can hit the three. My question is: do you think the bucks will look to resign him? I'm just not sure he fits since yawl have knight mayo parker and the Greek alphabet.

My knicks can use a role player like this. My friends are hoping for gasol or love which I think are unrealistic. Instead I'd rather have a young diamond in the rough.

Thanks

If recent rumours are to be believed Mids was possibly floated as part of packages to get improve our roster with either younger talent or established layers in mid to late 20's.

Not trying to be a dick but I'm not sure what the Knicks can offer. Our game style needs some good shooters to compensate for GA.

Unless there's something good out there I think we're looking to re sign. As you say, under rated player who you can always use.

Everyone but Giannis and Parker is (or should be) available.

Knicks have absolutely nothing to offer. But they'll have cap space. Bucks will be at 50 mill next yr. Cap will probably be at 66 mill. I think the can and should resign knight to 10-13 mill. That leaves "pennies " for khris and now he's the odd man out. Knicks can foolishly offer him 15 mill to bring him to broadway. I'd love to have him on my team.

You may be aware that the Bucks have full Bird Rights on both players, and both guys are restricted free agents, allowing the Bucks to match any offers. Of course, nobody would match a 15m/yr offer on Middleton, so if that's what you guys have in mind, best of luck.

Keeping Middleton at a reasonable price is my biggest worry right now.

no i had no idea the bux had his bird rights. i knew that hes restricted so a team would have to really really overpay him...but dolan is good at that. smh. but id rather acquire a young guy than a washed up PF with no knees

Middleton is just a guy. Please do not overrate him.

He will play out his season and Bucks will resign him to a favorable contract. No way we just leave him.

Just a guy that's still years from his prime who can do a couple things well and one thing really, really well. A reason the Hawks are so good is they managed to get really good players at below market prices. If Middleton can be had for under $10 mil a season, he's going to be worth it. If he's signing a deal north of eight figures, we're gonna have to hope he takes a leap.

Reiterating my previous sentiments, the highest I offer Middleton is 3-yrs $24 million. If he really improves down the stretch I could be convinced to add a 4th year.

Hell, if we paid John Salmons that kind of coin in the past, I can stomach doling it out for a 23 year old who's improved every season, at least he has potential on his side.

Question to the Bucks fans; what if the Knicks offered Amare for Ersan, Sanders, Dudley and Middleton? To me, that is the kind of deal it would need to be, otherwise, there is no individual asset that would do it. Maybe a Sanders/Midds for Bargnini?

Middleton's role is clearly defined, but he's trending towards being elite at his role. Every team needs great 3 point shooting from somewhere, and given his production, age, and mechanics, it's safe to say he'll be one of the league's best shooters. I agree that keeping him at a reasonable price tag is a legit worry. I think he will have several suitors.

My only hope at this point is that Kidd's system of limiting minutes and not playing through anyone pays off with Middleton getting underpaid because he doesn't have volume stats.
