I can't recall if I listened to Pressure Machine or not. I went there - yes - I am OK with this. I like this folk-inspiration.

I don't even dislike disco in general, there's some good songs in the 70s - songs like "The Man" are fine, but it's my last favorite trend for all of these bands. As noted a few posts ago, it started the death of really good Arcade Fire and the middle albums of the Killers bored me.

That said, I will also admit that those songs being the hook I think kept me from listening to those albums comprehensively. Wonderful Wonderful still has some decent Springsteen-inspired songs in it, etc.

Looks like I'm back on a little Killers kick. I don't think I've given them enough attention the past 5 years or so.

EDIT: OK, yeah, I did like Imploding the Mirage. I listened to this a fair amount.

EDIT EDIT: I forgot a good handful of these on Imploding the Mirage seem very much like War on Drugs songs.

What a revelation this morning. I haven't listened to music in my car in a decade and have entirely relied on Spotify.

This morning I've done a bunch of very quick errands in my car, didn't bring my phone. Turned on a radio station I've known that played good music, but never really gave it a listen. But I gave it a shot, was amazed, and I've done nothing but play it since I've gotten home. Listening through their website.

Bands I've heard:

Bush, Metallica, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, Halestorm, Five Finger Death Punch, The Offspring, Danzig, Pop Evil, Limp Bizkit, Rage Against the Machine, Papa Roach, Breaking Benjamin, Seether, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Shinedown, AC/DC, Linkin Park, and Three Days Grace. Also a solid amount of bands I don't know but fit into that genre. If that happens to be your jam, here's the station.

Set up Chrome streaming through my stereo system, then figured out how to use my Pulse3D headphones on my Mac. As much as I bitched about having to use Boom 3D, I'm not regretting it now. I'm in heaven.

Very cool, Kate Bush getting that Stranger things bump. Fantastic song, before my time but I love it.

Just innocently sitting here listening to tunes whilst working, headphones on and completely immersed. Holocene came on and I nearly had a complete breakdown out of nowhere.

What a masterpiece of feeling "I don't know what" it is.

This is on my Travel Mix - which is quite mellow, and which I haven't listened to whilst traveling in about 2 years now - and I've had some 'ok I cannot cry in an airport' moment(s) over the years.
