The best music was from 2019, or something.

This thread started in 2015, I just haven't updated the title for awhile.

And RIP dusty

Seriously, one of my favorite drummers.

And totally the coolest looking drummer, ever.

For all of his low-key skill behind the kit, Watts seemed well aware that he was an irreplaceable element of the Stones’ sound. As one famous story from the band’s heyday goes, Jagger once phoned Watts’ hotel room in the midst of an all-night party, asking, “Where’s my drummer?” Watts reportedly got up, shaved, dressed in a suit, put on a tie and freshly shined shoes, descended the stairs, and punched Jagger in the face, saying, “Don’t ever call me your drummer again. You’re my **** singer!”

It's okay. I'm disappointed in no pt 3s though.

I couldn’t stand it. To be fair I only made it about half way through but that’s as far as I could make it.

Is Donda closer to old kanye (TCD, LR) or new Kanye? Sign me up as a massive early Kanye fan but the new stuff rairly sticks outside of popular songs like runaway, ghost town, etc. I took a brief listen to a song or two but dont have the ambition to listen through.

On that note, The College Dropout is Kanyes best album.... fight me

The only Kanye song I've liked since his first stuff, and it's probably because it was produced by RZA.

Incredible song.

It's definitely "new Kanye" but is still his best since MBDTF. That said I didn't like any of the albums between that and this were good, and I don't see myself listening to this one more than MBDTF or any of the 1st 3. MBDTF has the conflict and pathos of the later stuff with the coherence of the earlier stuff.
