Also, anyone else heard Liam Gallagher's first solo single 'Wall of Glass'. It has well exceeded my expectations.

I want an Oasis reunion. Not for the music (it was awful at the end - and I LOVE Oasis) but for the stories.

I didn't know Liam was releasing anything. I'm still hoping for a new Noel Gallagher + High Flying Birds album soon - they're pretty good (with some great tracks).

Noel has a new album with HFB coming out in November

To be fair, Reflektor is their last album. Maybe you meant that you didn't like the song and the album, which I'd mostly agree with. "Afterlife" is probably their best song they've done off of that album, otherwise I'm only lukewarm on the change of direction they made.

I did not like Reflektor (lead single), and couldn't get into their last album (Reflektor).

Afterlife was okay. Boring, but okay.

The Manchester Benefit concert has been legitimately amazing.

New Lorde isn't remotely as disappointing as when Adele came out with her latest, but I don't think I'm wrong saying none of her latest stuff would stack up to Tennis Court, 400 Lux. Royals, Ribs, Buzzcut Season, or Team.

It's good, and I like it, it's just not unreal. Adele's was just really bad.

I'm embarrassed for Big Boi. That was truly awful.

I thought the new Big Boi was OK on first listen, but few songs stood out.

Same. But I love "Kill Jill" with Killer Mike and Jeezy. Those eerie cords at the beginning and then THUMP!!! goes the beat.

New Alvvays song is quality. Their debut is one of my favorite albums of the last few years.

It is definitely more subtle. Lyrically I think it has the same punch, but I agree no real bangers musically like Pure Heroin. I'm digging it but in a different way. It's hard for artists to recreate that feeling they have on a break through album.

I'm sure somebody else will chime in with how cool they think it is, but it's **** depressing that Arcade Fire jumped on the disco/funk trend. Guess I'll wait another ~3 years in hopes that their next shift actually uses the talents of the band. There are thousands of bands that could have made the song they released today.

Last Thursday a friend gave my wife and I free VIP captains deck tickets for Needtobreathe at Summerfest. I love their sound. The lead guys voice is easily one of my favorites to listen to live. They are rooted a bit in Christian Rock but most of their new stuff is thankfully not preachy at all.

I have not enjoyed past Summerfest experiences because I hate people for the most part but I could definitely get used to the captains deck. It was much more enjoyable.

3 free drinks, free ice cream, no real crowds, good sight lines, private clean bathroom, no frat bros or meat heads. It was nice

Outside of the Ditch Years, I'll stack it up next to anything he did.

I don't think so. I don't love it, but I like it. I think the timing of the song is really good, too.

That said, the rest of the songs I have heard are indeed garbage.

ETA Wait..deja vu. We talked about this song on the last page. And you clearly now mean the album and not the song. Disregard :P
