He must be able to defend Point Guards and definitely need the three pointer.

Seth Curry, Avey Bradley, Jordan Clarkson? just to name a few.

i really like Seth Curry.

I'd be pretty happy if our guard rotation was some combination of

Seth Curry/Bayless/Nando De Colo
Middleton/Rashad/Ennis

next year.

I really think this is the wrong choice, but I respect his national pride and hope the same loyalty plays a role when we resign him

Giannis will put in the necessary work to get himself where we want him to be, not worried about it. The coach better give him the keys to the team though

What are the odds Greece makes it?

If they don't he's done by July 9th right? Not that big a deal, just a month and he'll be back here for like 3.5 months of training before the season starts.

What more can u say about Giannis(and Thanassis)?
Other players in his place wouldn't even consider risking an injury right before their new contract(and we wouldn't blame them either) but Giannis even decided to"fight" to be part of his country squad.

It will be very hard to get the ticket and most probably we won't do it, leaving 2 whole months for Giannis to practice, but with an upcoming all-star in our line-up everything is possible now!

He is just amazing!

Our Summer just became more interesting!

The mini tournament will take place at Turin( Italy)

Our group consists of Greece,Mexico and Iran and the other group of Italy, Croatia and Tynisia.
The first two of each group will qualify in the semis and the winners of each semi final will fight for the single ticket in the final match.

The group is quite easy even for the new and young squad of Greece and we should qualify as first.
In the semi final and the final though we will face two proper teams though.
Italy and Croatia.
Both are quite talented offensively with plenty of NBAers and Italy will also have the advantage of their home fans.

We will be the outsider in either of these two games imo.

I hope we told him we'll let him play if he takes a discount in July.

Greece vs. Italy. An epic custody dispute in which the child is Western Civilization. To be resolved by young men putting a sphere through a circle, as is the Classical custom.

If we really wanted to make him angry we'd not extend him until next year.

Wow. I am speechless.

Can't describe how much I love this kid.

Respect to the Bucks Organization for being loyal to Giannis. I am 10000% sure that this loyalty will be paid back by
Giannis twice.

I hope we will not have this discussion anymore. Giannis even made clear when drafted that he wanted to play with the
Under 20 Greek NT in 2013. Now he made everything to play with Greece this summer.
The Bucks just will have to live with his attitude regarding the NT.
For sure Giannis will have to decline the NT invitation someday in his carreer on his own will.
But it should allways be his OWN decision.

Our chances to qualify still are low (yesterday another player Sloukas has been reported to be injured. Nit out 100% but
chances are 50/50 that he will play).

So Italy is the favourite to qualify on their homeground. But I can smell the fear in Italy right now.
Fear Giannis!

If we qualify for Rio 2016 I would really recommend the Bucks to send staff to assist Giannis.
I would not even be bothered if Giannis leaves to make individual training with the Bucks alone and
would join the NT in Rio.

If we qualify this years NT will not be a contender for medals. It would be just something like
getting used to the new team structure and preparation for the European Championschip in 2017.

If I were the Bucks and/or the Greek Federation I would be more than willing to take every compromise to make
both sides happy.

This kid is so special that everybody has to be very smart with his situation.

In some decades people will laugh that 14 Teams passed on Giannis

Well, since he's 100% going now: Kick some Euro ass, Gianni. Have no doubt he's gonna look like the best player out there every game.
