3/7/16-
Memphis at Cleveland
The Grizzlies beat the Cavs without Marc Gasol, Zach Randolph and Mike Conley!
http://espn.go.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=400828825------------------------------------------------
Indiana vs. San Antonio
Indiana solidifying a playoff spot with a huge home win over San Antonio. Paul George with 23 points while continuing an amazing comeback season. He really deserves more pub. Monta with 26. The rook Myles Turner with 9/10/ 2 blocks against TD and Aldridge. This has to be a huge win for the Pacers confidence. Adding Lawson is a good addition to their backcourt.
http://espn.go.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=400828826--------------------------------------------------
Los Angeles Clippers at Dallas
A potential 1st round matchup in the West, Clippers vs. Mavs, turned out to be a rout of Dallas in their own building. While LA's starting SF and PF, Paul Pierce and Jeff Green, combined for only 2 points, the Clips received 20+ point games from the other 3 starters (Paul-27, Jordan-23 and Redick-22). DeAndre Jordan also grabbed 20 rebounds as Los Angeles turned a game that was tied at halftime into an easy 19 point win, 109-90.
http://espn.go.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=400828829----------------------------------------------------
Minnesota at Charlotte
The Charlotte Hornets have now won 4 games in a row and 8 out of 10, as they used a strong 3rd quarter to help beat the visiting Minnesota Timberwolves. Kemba Walker led all scorers with 34 points on 12-20 FG shooting. He also added 7 boards and 6 assists. Walker has really improved his offensive efficiency this season. Al Jefferson came off the bench with 20 points. Marvin Williams (15) and Nick Batum (11) were the other Hornets in double figures. Charlotte is currently in 6th places just 3 games behind the 3rd seed Boston. With 11 home games in their final 20, they could definitely make a push for a top 4 seed.
http://espn.go.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=400828824The playoff race is heating up!!

The capitulation of the Cavs is just going to hopefully be as glorious as I imagine it.

OK, I know something like this would never happen. But how great would it be if all teams got together and agreed they'd only offer him the minimum contract.
Always thought this should be done for idiots like Donkey Kong Suh.

That's called Collusion and is highly illegal.

Can't remember what podcast I heard it on but can you imagine Lebron getting Durant to team up with him in Cleveland. Might be the only way those two can win a title.

So how much is Kevin Love regretting resigning long term vs bolting to Boston?
Also I completely believe the rumors that Kyrie wants out.
http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/14921113/lebron-james-cleveland-cavaliers-likes-express-beautiful-mind-social-mediaOne of those "beautiful teammates," Kyrie Irving, entered into James' cryptic tweet territory on Monday morning with a tweet of his own.
[tweet]https://twitter.com/KyrieIrving/status/706814795928842240[/tweet]
It's unknown whether Irving's tweet was in response to James. Irving did not speak to reporters at shootaround. However, James said that any tension his tweets might be creating within Cleveland's locker room isn't necessarily a bad thing.
"If you don't have conflict throughout the course of a season (your team is lacking), even internal or external- sometimes, it becomes external, which you don't want to happen, but sometimes it happens and that's OK," James said. "I think conflict, it builds character. It builds even more trust. You're able to get on someone, someone's able to get on you and then the whistle blows and, let's get out and let's execute what needs to be done. I've always been like that since I was a kid.

It's like Melo and Lebron are competing for who can meltdown worst.

“Put me at the head of the (meeting) table,” Anthony said. “And let’s go to work.”
“I don’t really have a choice. If we want this team to be better, if we want more pieces of this team, I don’t have a choice but to go out there and do my job and try to get people to come,” he said. “And for them to see it from my perspective than anybody else’s perspective. See it from a player’s perspective.”

Nope he's headed for LA. The Lakers will trade their lotto pick to NYK for Melo. DWade is a FA. Maybe they'll recruit Dwight to come back too.

Utah deserve to play in the postseason.
It's an exciting young team with a great future. They have been unlucky with the injuries again.
Hayward is one of the most "superstars-in-the-waiting-to-be-recognized" players right now.
Really hope they will leave the rockets out. If harden gets awarded with a playoff berth after a season like that one, it will really suck.

You must have a really low standard for what a "superstar" is if Gordon Hayward fits that bill. Someone needs to explain to me how Utah isn't in the position we all dread of being in: AKA a treadmill team the last two years that will be picking in the 12-15 range of the draft again, with no real "star" potential talent outside of Exum w/a torn ACL, and praying that Gobert develops any semblance of an offensive game.

If someone can explain to me why harden is a superstar and hayward isn't......
He is doing a little bit of everything. And he does it well.
Has anyone wondered what the Jazz can achieve if they run hayward the same way the bucks run giannis at point?
I mean exum is out. Probably he will be theirs PG of the future.
Neto ain't bad at all. BUT. He will be BETTER than harden easily if he has the same usage.
I mean...what is he doing so badly that he can't make an All Star game? Really now?
He plays for the Jazz. If he was in NY or LA...you know the drill.

Because he's a vastly better player? And this is coming from a huge Harden hater.
And just LOL at the Neto Harden comment. Just what the hell.

A vastly better player....who can't defend even my grandmother on a matchup.
I respect all opinions, i am not a hater of anyone(lol) but harden is one of the worst superstar labeled players i've seen. He is hurting his team in a way that few Alphas have.
I stand by my point. Hayward already is better player than harden and in a couple of years we'll laugh at the comparison.
A few days ago Giannis was said to be better than Melo. On that board.
I do not agree(yet), but when you guys make comparisons like that one, you must be able to see it on other players as well, and not only bucks players. Just my two cents.

James Harden just led his garbage team to the final four last year while getting second in the MVP voting. That's really it in this debate.

Bit OT, but I can't go to any even remotely mainstream basketball sites anymore. PBT's first 5 articles are all about the Warriors. The only one not about the Warriors on their main page is about Lebron's tweets. They're great, I get it, but for ****'s sake, there's more going on in the NBA than the Warriors.
