As we hit 100 on the old thread, we'll move to this new one.
Thought this piece from web writer Michael Tracey apt to describe life at RGM.
https://medium.com/mtracey/a-note-on-arguing-online-e2e2ad42bd2c#.n0qnxmvya“Arguing with strangers online” on its face sounds like a categorically worthless thing to spend one’s time doing, and it’s usually framed derisively. However, I enjoy it in some respects, and derive value from it. When you have hordes of people out there hell-bent on challenging and scrutinizing your every point, no matter how ancillary/trivial, it mandates that every point you make be completely rock-solid, whether logically or factually. And it’s a more stimulating activity than sitting around watching TV.
Tenets he notes above true here. And we do this as it relates to the Bucks partly out of tough love.

I agree.
Arguing online also helps you to write clearly- otherwise people mistake your point and attack you for "points" you never intended to make. This helps you to think more clearly (or it ought to). This in turn makes you a better spectator of the sport and a better fan.

The line about "it being more stimulating than watching TV" is true. I have a hard time watching games without you guys here and on Twitter. My brain is too wired now to just sit and stare at the TV. That may be a bad thing for the human condition, but it is where we're at.

I didn't realize Okafor was getting DNPs. Man what a trainwreck.

I hope it doesn't ruin his game from a mental standpoint. Going from a top 3 pick to not getting any minutes can ruin a guys confidence. Hoping he can find a team where he can thrive on. He has the potential to adapt his game to the new style of the NBA much like Monroe is doing this year. Whether that's as a starter or off the bench, remains to be seen for Okafor.

Even becoming current Monroe looks optimistic for him. His rebounding is laughably terrible and he has no interest in passing. I was really high on the kid this time last year but drafting him into that situation was such an obvious **** up. They should have just taken Porzingis (it's not like he wasnt in the mix at #3) or traded down and gotten a haul. It was a complete lack of foresight.
On a side note, Ersan has been Arsen in January. He was playing awesome the first 2 months, and now the Sixers are seeing the bad side of him shooting 22% from 3 on a ridiculous number of attempts.

Giannis also lost several pounds according to Marques and Charles, and he was tired from the 2nd quarter.
The question is, what is the secret agenda between Jimmy and Giannis?

He was mentioned in the other thread, but what happened to Parsons? Just injuries?

Yeah, he's looked gimpy as hell.
It just occurred to me that he was like a SF version of Brogdon his rookie year. He was an old 2nd-rounder that came in and could immediately contribute in pretty much every area.
He seems like a really hard guy to root for though. It's dumbfounding that he got that contract.

Forgive my ignorance, so is he a giant douche?

Healthy Parsons was really good. He was transitioning to an awesome 4 in Dallas.

Man, ain't this the truth. Kind of sad.
Although if I'm at a live game I barely ever touch my phone.

We must have broken the Spurs. They just lost to the Phoenix.

Jokic is a poet with the ball in his hands
I don't know what it is with this country that keeps churning out magicians in soccer, basketball, volleyball, water polo, tennis. It's like their kids are born with a ball in their hands, the only thing holding them back is athleticism.

Would be brilliant in our offense in the high post plus he can do so much in the pick and roll.

Luwawu looks decent so far. Stats aren't great but he looks like he could be pretty good player.

Popovich's minute management on his players might be a bit excessive. Kawhi is a 25 year old extremely well conditioned athlete. He only played 32 mins in the L against the suns and 36 when they lost to the Bucks. There'd be 20 pages of Kidd abuse on here if Giannis was limited like that.
He does it in the playoffs as well, probably lost game 7 in 2015 because of that

Dam dude is so good, lacks athleticism, but makes up for it in smarts...AND Nikola Jokic was picked in the 2nd round after Inglis and O'Bryant
