So on one hand Lasry and Kidd seem to have lost and Edens won. But on the other hand we hired someone from within that none of us know anything about.

So if Lasry and Kidd wanted Zanik, maybe he was the yes man they wanted? Hopefully Edens saw that and didn't want that.

No idea who this Horst guy is, but just hoping for something positive.

Told you that the most powerful person besides the owners is Jason Kidd right now.

Kidd could not control Hammond.

Hammond gained power cause of Giannis,Thon,Brogdon picks.

So now that Hammond has left, Kidd runs the show guys.

Pick well Kidd ... Hartenstein

What a ****.... You want to get rid of Hammond and have this extensive search for the best candidate and you hire the guy who is basically one of Hammonds proteges? I guess we know who really runs this franchise if Lasry,Kidd and major minority owner wanted Zanik but Edens didnt...

Get successor GM in place.
Have what should be very attractive GM job open up.
Hire search firm to find most qualified candidates.
Get short list.
Get final two.
Lose one of two while bickering.
Don't pick remaining one.
Pick guy with no experience and that was never on the radar.

And somehow they got consensus on him?
