Poll Bucks 2017 Draft Pick #17

Post#1 » by Fotis St » Sat May 27, 2017 8:27 pm

Unfortunately DX has many of our top picks gone before our turn ...

I made 10 most discussed names that according to DX would be available ...

http://www.draftexpress.com/nba-mock-draft/2017/#list

Sorry, the poll only allows 10 options not more... Would have added Bam and Bell ...

Who do you pick at #17 ?
Draft picks: '15 Jerian Grant, '16 Thon Maker, '17 Isaiah Hartenstein/*John Collins, '18 TD Devonte Graham, Hamidou Diallo, '20 Sam Merrill, Killian Tillie, '21 Joe Wieskamp, '22 TU C.Braun/G.Procida '23 Tristan Vukcevic/Maxwell Lewis

Giles. If the team doctors say no, Frank Jackson.

I'm absolutely positive that I don't have the first damn clue.
I can only narrow it down to no 4's or 5's - I suck

Hartenstein would have fit the Hammond pattern of swing for the fences first round, safe pick 2nd round. Of course Hammond isn't here anymore so who knows what will happen.

I think I'd probably do it as well.

I picked Giles. He has been my pick for a while now. Although this isn't the draft to go for one guy. Too many good prospects. Trade down if able.

With these players available I would also go for Hartenstein. A bet but with good prospect.

Gimme Collins. I think dude will carve out a very nice career. Multiple ways to score and think he can be above average on d.

How can someone pick Harry Giles as a prospect? an undersized C with terrible offense and a history of injuries.. Hartensteins skill set would eat Giles alive.. he is much much better in everything.. shooting, posting, D, agility.. Hartenstein is a 7.1 Center while Giles is 6.10.. compared to every single mention in this poll, Hartenstein is a class above, with professional experience in the euroleague.. i suggest you check him out, he is a Nowitzki type of prospect that semi-goes under the radar.. i doubt it that he ll be available at #17 but if he was by any chance he would be the big prize of this draft.

Giles but I'd maybe look into moving the pick to a team willing to eat some salary.

At this point, gimme Giles. You're not investing a lottery pick here. Take a shot on the guy who by far has the biggest upside of this group. Obviously if his medicals don't 100% check out, then guys like Ojeyele, Leaf, and Allen are all other worthy options. I'm even starting to warm up to Kennard the more I watch of him....

From that list really the only ones that would get me excited are Allen, Hartenstein or Jackson. I'd bet pretty upset with the rest at #17.

Not Giles. I do not understand why anyone would want him. I don't even know if he could be considered a bust. He's just not good. Saw Allen a lot this past season. I think he will be a solid player so I will go with him.
